You don't know how much of a OMG YES THEY R! **** U NO THEY RNT fest you've possibly started.

Whether or not those bands are DM, I don't care, because I think they suck.

All Shall Perish
Job For a Cowboy
As Blood Runs Black

Yea, what now, bitches?
Did you just ****ing call the Agony Scene and As Blood Runs Black "death metal"? My god, bra, you are retarded :(

All Shall Perish is damn good though, one of the few "deathcore" bands I enjoy. Besides Whitechapel of course :p
ABRB death metal...what?
They seem to predominantly share characteristics with melodic death metal bands, even if they have gay breakdown bullshit.

I don't really like them at all though.

masscows 09-17-2007 02:09 PM

theyre an at the gates worship band, there are thousands of bands exactly like them...

Bazarov 09-17-2007 02:09 PM

Hell yes! I just found out Obituary is coming to a city about 45 minutes from where I live.

Shred Danson 09-17-2007 02:09 PM
arent abrb fans of your band icb? lol
LO****INL go to their myspace page, scroll down the page til you see their bass player's promo pic. He's wearing a WFOF shirt :p

But seriously, they're good guys. Now they just need to write their own ****ing music (since they kicked the last original member out of the band earlier this year)

And now I am jealous

masscows 09-17-2007 02:10 PM

Yeah, I remember you telling a story about how they went and watched you guys at summer slaughter.

You should be.

And who the hell is Alabama Thunderpussy? That sure doesn't sound like a death metal band. THey're opening for Obituary.

masscows 09-17-2007 02:12 PM

theyre a southern metal band. pretty cool stuff to listen to once in a while.

Shred Danson 09-17-2007 02:14 PM

They only did that because we toured with them :p

The guitarist from the Faceless was right next to me staring at me when I was setting my equipment up. Probably thought we sucked even before we hit the stage

Southern metal band, pretty good, but not as awesome as Nashville P*ssy

yeah, hopefully their material will actually be good...

Shred Danson 09-17-2007 02:32 PM

I somewhat doubt it, and I can see them fade away in a year or two...

i am the robots 09-17-2007 02:33 PM

probably a good thing.

i dont know them but "their" music kinda doesnt deserve the acclaim.

Lefty 09-17-2007 03:27 PM

I'm only dropping in from time to time, so I don't know about how you guys feel about shameless self-promotion, but my Death Metal band, Abominat has two new songs up at;

A ****ing killer band.

LifeInABox 09-17-2007 03:33 PM

Haha, their opening for Obituary?

pate 09-17-2007 03:36 PM

Indeed. They were supposed to have a Chicago date, which would have been this Sunday, but then it got removed.

LifeInABox 09-17-2007 03:38 PM

I don't know if I would go tbh. ATP is meh to me and I don't know how much old material Obituary would play.

Where in Norway are you from Lefty?

LifeInABox 09-17-2007 03:56 PM

Out of curiosity, is anyone interested in the new BDM tommorrow?

Shred Danson 09-17-2007 03:57 PM

Not really.

Squirrel 09-17-2007 03:59 PM

I've already got it.

I heard it at a listening party a few weeks back too, thats before i went on a night out with the band :)

LifeInABox 09-17-2007 03:59 PM

How is it? I used to be a fan, but my intrest has kind of drifted from them.

Squirrel 09-17-2007 04:01 PM

Every aspect of it, it pretty much sits inbetween Unhallowed and Miasma. Theyve definitely matured though, trevors voice is a lot better amongst other things.

Quite a lot of black metal influence in it too.

Lefty 09-17-2007 04:03 PM
Where in Norway are you from Lefty?
I'm from Oslo, the Capitol. The rest of the band are mainly from Elverum, 170 km north of Oslo.

And thanks a lot for the feedback guys! Much appreciated.

Ooh, that sounds worth a listen. But if I want it, I love getting things on their release dates, i.e. tommorrow, so....
