I tried slaping a harmonic before, and i did it first time, and i thuaght it would be realy hard, so i was proud.

Well more-so then, im slowly starting to stay away from certain areas and only post in those where the respectable ones are.

Slap harmonics? If they are as nasty as pinch/artificial harmonics to master, then well done! Big step up from natural harmonics, though im not sure if there is much difference on a bass, i would assume not.

I have no idea what the difference is, when i play the string i rest my finger on it realy gently and then let to when i strike the string

Well nat harmonics I guess appear on bass too, at the 3rd, 5th 7th fret, etc. As for pinch harmonics, I play them bu catching the sting with my stumming hand thum to kill the vibration and get a high ping sound. But since its near impossible for me to get them on the top 3 strings, I guess they dont feature too much on bass. (any bass player who knows different, feel free to flame ..........NOW!)

Harmonics are used more on bass then guitar as there better heard, but im just gonna guess that im doing nateral harmonics of my little describtion

No, not leaving, just sticking to cetain areas more (R&M, here, and the sports threads). This new wave of 'dobbers' crew has annoyed the hell outta me, especially after what happened to InMyPlace. But leaving is NOT in my mind at the moment, I have the Tool thread to monitor after all.

i have to say that thread made me giggle. the thing about this "anti-dobber crew" thing is that there are quite a few "weel-respected" members on it and it therefore poses a serious problem for any mods trying to deal with it. ban 'em all and you'll probably end up with a vicious spam-fest.

The fact it contains an ex mod is another bad point. Its the n00bs jumping on the bandwagon that annoy the **** out of me the most. But thats for the pit to deal with now, if theystep foot in here again, us UK mxers will eat them up. Right guys...
