Woodstock 09-15-2004 08:45 PM

It would be interesting to see them live.

magicbus 09-15-2004 08:46 PM

What cities are you guys in? I wonder if they'd be coming here?

Badmoon 09-15-2004 08:48 PM

Chicago

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 08:49 PM

Cleveland. I'm not sure if they are coming here.

magicbus 09-15-2004 08:51 PM

Oh, I meant rockandroll and woodstock, since they said they might be going. But thats cool too. I'm near Detroit.

Woodstock 09-15-2004 08:51 PM

I'm in Toledo miik, so I'm sure they go to Cleveland.

Woodstock 09-15-2004 08:52 PM

Me, miik, and magicbus are no more than three hours away from each other.

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 08:52 PM

Yeah, crazy. We all live pretty close. Badmoon included.

magicbus 09-15-2004 08:53 PM

Yea, I was just in Toledo about a month ago.

Woodstock 09-15-2004 08:54 PM

I really dont like Toledo, kind of a dump city. Except for the Zoo

Badmoon 09-15-2004 08:55 PM

Midwest > all

Though I'm planning to move to the Rocky Mountains.

Woodstock 09-15-2004 08:55 PM

Midwest>Canada

RockAndRoll 09-15-2004 08:56 PM

I live in London Ontario (it's in southwestern Ontario).

magicbus 09-15-2004 08:56 PM
I really dont like Toledo, kind of a dump city. Except for the Zoo
Yea I agree (no offense). I was there to check out the used cd stores that my dad goes to on business trips. He usually brings back pretty sweet stuff.

RockAndRoll 09-15-2004 08:57 PM
Midwest>Canada
psst, there's a midwest in Canada too! :p

magicbus 09-15-2004 08:57 PM
I live in London Ontario (it's in southwestern Ontario).
Hahahaha. I always thought you were actually from London. Like Brittain. :p

Woodstock 09-15-2004 08:57 PM

We have a nice mall though.

Badmoon 09-15-2004 08:57 PM

Not as good as our midewest.

Woodstock 09-15-2004 08:58 PM

Now we're competing over midwests, I love where this thread can go in a minute.

RockAndRoll 09-15-2004 08:59 PM
Hahahaha. I always thought you were actually from London. Like Brittain. :p
 I wish, Then at least I'd have a cool english accent. But I might not be able to speak french. Actually I don't really wish I was born there, but I would have a cool accent.

RockAndRoll 09-15-2004 09:00 PM
We have a nice mall though.
nothing like the west edmonton mall though. (not that having a super big mall is anything to brag about)

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 09:00 PM

Nothing is cooler than a Toledo accent.

Badmoon 09-15-2004 09:01 PM

Economic pigs

Woodstock 09-15-2004 09:01 PM

Isn't that the biggest mall in the world? I know it's in Canada somewhere.

magicbus 09-15-2004 09:01 PM

I guess Michigan accents are weird

I never knew we had one. Someone informed me recently.

Woodstock 09-15-2004 09:01 PM
Nothing is cooler than a Toledo accent.
You know, the midwest has no accent.

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 09:03 PM
You know, the midwest has no accent.
I've heard from people who don't live around here that people from the midwest have kinda "nasaly"(not a word) voices.

RockAndRoll 09-15-2004 09:04 PM
Economic pigs
Yes, our amazing economy is mostly due to our amazing music industry. :p

What are people's heres opinions on coldplay?

Woodstock 09-15-2004 09:04 PM

Yeah, but I can identify that though.

Edit: to miik

I have AROBTTH  and it's pretty good for a recent band.

Polotik=favorite

magicbus 09-15-2004 09:07 PM

I thought they were british too

But I like them. Reminds me of Radiohead. Dreamlike music.

I have AROBTH :p too. Although my friend says Parachutes is better. I think my favourite is the title track, tough call though. Have you heard see you soon? It's on a B side my friend donwloaded.

They are british, They remind me of Radiohead too, Muse reminds me of radiohead as well. Muse is coming to a pub here and playing for 20$ on halloween. I doubt I'll go see them as I'm not a huge fan, but my friend plans on going.

Woodstock 09-15-2004 09:11 PM

I dont have Parachutes, and I haven't listened to much else.

RockAndRoll 09-15-2004 09:11 PM

Oh ya, I can play the intro to clocks on piano (and the vocal part heh) it's pretty cool, I can play it on Vibraphone too. (sounds cool and you get the sustain sound.)

I've never heard Muse's music, just that they sound like Radiohead.

And as for my question about nationality, I thought you brought them up cause they were Canadian too. Hence, my question about being british.

haha, no but I'm told a good new Canadian band is the stills, although I haven't heard any of their music. I'd download some but Kazaa has decided the only song it will play is the son of a preacher.
