looks pretty bad ass i'll look into it.

ATM 01-27-2009 10:25 PM

Nice, thanks man. It was a little bumpy because it was the first concert I've hosted on the air haha

schiggy 01-27-2009 10:28 PM

np. room you are in looks really small...

RunAmokRampant 01-27-2009 11:11 PM

Listening to Pasobionic's Empty Beats for Lonely Rappers. Very cool. So cool I reviewed his album the other day.

And also listening to TZU's Computer Love, which is also very cool.

Black milk's rapping is meh. He's like a slighter better version of kanye. His beats are dope though.

pixiesfanyo 01-27-2009 11:38 PM

Elzhi is way more Kanye sounding than Milk.

Milk is a good rapper. he isn't anything special but he is good.

Jaded 01-27-2009 11:49 PM

you think so? I like elzhi, his style is a lot more dynamic and interesting to me than black milk. I guess they both got a kanyeish vibe, but bm makes me think of "flashing lights" every time I hear him.

pixiesfanyo 01-27-2009 11:55 PM

just how Elzhi sounds.

Jaded 01-28-2009 12:21 AM

You have any suggestions for new artists that aren't kanye clones? I'm sick of the whole rapping lazily behind the beat thing, even Buckshot's doing it these days.

kingsoby1 01-28-2009 12:27 AM

POS... his new joint "Never Better" comes out on the 3rd. i got the pre-release, and it's really tight... some of the most unique stuff ive heard recently.

Jaded 01-28-2009 12:31 AM

when he rocks the mic, does he rock the mic right?

listening to "goodbye" right now. this guy is dope, thanks for that, i just might pick up his album next week

UnstoppableNewt 01-28-2009 11:05 PM

The Procussions are pretty fire. They were on Rawkus Records for a bit, but they're definitely underground. I think they're defunct, now, but one of their members, Mr. J Medeiros, is doing some pretty bomb solo stuff.

What about the band dope?
np. room you are in looks really small...
Yeah its a small live room - you can pack about 50 people in there though.

ATM 01-30-2009 08:31 AM

All fans of stuff like Outkast NEEDS to get this. The group is Hollyweerd and the album is called Electricity Showroom. It's ****ing awesome:

ATM 01-30-2009 08:42 AM

I've whored them here before. Get this mixtape though, it kills.

schiggy 01-30-2009 08:43 AM
What about the band dope?
Dope is ok but it's nothing I'd recommend to try.

Maybe Prolyphic & Reanimator. I didn't really like their album, but Prolyphic has more of a whiny nasalized fast style of rap.

I also like Blu. He usually does some good stuff.

kingsoby1 01-31-2009 04:25 PM

ya, the most recent Blu joint with Mainframe is tight... it's called Johnson and Jonson i think. he also did a record with Exile in 07 called Below the Heavens... that was pretty sick too.

Jaded 01-31-2009 04:30 PM

I'm a big fan of below the heavens, good stuff

kingsoby1 01-31-2009 04:47 PM

check out blu and mainframe then, solid stuff.

POS's Never Better should be up today. A pretty solid 3.5/5.0

What happens when two super producers collide to do a mixtape? A classic is created. Mr. “A Milli” himself, Bangladesh, breaks out from behind the mpc 2000 and into the booth to debut as an artist. The tape features Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes, M.I.A., Muffy, plus more. Not to mention it’s hosted by none other than Mr. Money Machine himself Don Cannon, how could you go

This **** is ridiculous.

Sidenote: Limelinx is just a mediafire type filesharing site, not some weird site.
