I personally hate Sweating Bullets. I can't stand it unless its played live.
Are the vocals different on all the remasters?
Not really. There are supposed to be some differences on the Rust In Peace remaster, but I've only heard one track off that one. It sounds worse than the original though. I have the original on Soulseek if you're interested. Username is Kreator

It says all the tracks are Remotely Qued.

Yeah, they brutally raped that song.

It's probably because you have to wait in line.

i was always a metallica kinda guy. But i've been big into Deth lately, mustaine is god. Thanks to whoever recommended a few songs about 50 pages back : )

I've never liked Metallica that much, but from what I've heard of them, I like Megadeth.

Master of Puppets is a great album, but Dave takes credit for writing most of that album, along with Kill 'Em All. But eh, who knows.

MAthiAS 09-19-2005 09:09 PM

Dave has like no credit on MoP. And Metallica are so overrated its not even funny. They've got like 4 thrash songs that Mustaine didn't write, somehow an army of fanboys think they're the kings of thrash metal.

Kind of pathetic isn't it?

Metallion#666 09-19-2005 09:18 PM

This is sort of off topic, but Megadeth is so much better than metallica. Metallica was the first metal band i got into, and then i heard some Megadeth and now I hardly(if not never) listen to Metallica anymore. I was wondering, has anyone heard anything about megadeth's future, if it has one?

MAthiAS 09-19-2005 09:18 PM

Very.

Megadeth's future is probably nothing... Dave's probably going to go solo now.

Metallion#666 09-19-2005 09:23 PM

True. His solo stuff will probably be really bad-*** though.

MAthiAS 09-19-2005 09:25 PM

We'll see. The new Megadeth album was him solo too, so it'll probably be good.

Metallion#666 09-19-2005 09:27 PM

I dont know why alot of people dont like the new album, I thought it was great.

MAthiAS 09-19-2005 09:28 PM

Yeah, same.

Hopefully with Dave solo he won't feel as obliged to play the 'essential' Megadeth songs live, and can revive some old Deth songs.

Metallion#666 09-19-2005 09:32 PM

The old songs were some of the best but I liked them throughout their entire carreer, and dave is my biggest influence as a Guitarist, and he's simply my hero. My friend was saying something about him going right-wing, pro-war. I doubt it but do u know anything ?

MAthiAS 09-19-2005 09:36 PM

Yeah he's a conservative Christian now, don't know his stance on the war though.

Apocalyptic Raids 09-19-2005 09:39 PM

I think he would just play 4 or 5 of the classics and leave it at that.

I would much rather he kept Megadeth going. Why bother going solo when Megadeth is him doing all the song writing? I also want to see if this new lineup can bring something interesting (If they get a chance).

I for one, would much rather go see Megadeth than Dave Mustaine solo.

Chu 09-19-2005 09:44 PM

****, I kinda like Metallica, although can't really say I like anything after Master of Puppets though, and Metallica with Mustaine, as seen on Power Metal/No Life 'Til Leather is pretty much the best they can get..

But that said, I do prefer Megadeth (But both are probably my favourite 2 bands.. With Dream Theater coming in 3rd)...
Dave's just released concistently good material, there shouldn't even be a comparison since '91, that is the year Megadeth completely shat on Metallica imo... (Although I could say the same thing about 88, but too many people like ...AJFA :p)

I finally conviced my non-believer friends too :D
When I first started showing them Megadeth they hated it, but they all love Megadeth now. So good.

Megadeth > * :D

MAthiAS 09-19-2005 09:45 PM

Yeah, I don't know.

I think he's too far removed from his thrash days to join another band. That'd be sick though.

Apocalyptic Raids 09-19-2005 09:50 PM

It would be quite strange :-\

MAthiAS 09-19-2005 09:59 PM

Yeah. He's probably too big too.

Apocalyptic Raids 09-19-2005 10:10 PM

Probably.

Exodus should have got him when Rick left. That would have been cool, since the two bands are friends

i'm dreaming lol

ThrashMaster27 09-20-2005 12:09 AM

Although it would be interesting to see Dave in Exodus, it wouldn't work for two reasons.

1. Daves style is too different from Garys.

2. Putting two people together that normally write 90% of the material for their bands will not work.

Plus you need Dave for his witty comments when he's on the mic :p

Jev 09-20-2005 08:55 AM

True. There'd be too many arguments.

blockheads dead 09-20-2005 03:06 PM

Why doesn't Mustaine sue Metallica if he thinks they stole his songs for Master of Puppets and Kill Em' All?

clairvoyant 09-20-2005 03:11 PM
Why doesn't Mustaine sue Metallica if he thinks they stole his songs for Master of Puppets and Kill Em' All?
Cause they gave him writing credits on Kill Em All and he has no way of proving he wrote the riff on Leper Messiah.
