Zao.

There is one episode of Star Trek Voyager I really want to see, but I've only got seasons 1-5, and this takes place in season 7. The file isn't going to be complete until mid next week, because there aren't ever any seeders. =/
hahah yeah dude. I got home today and I was like "**** its Neils birthday" He's starting to be over the hill, but still one hell of a drummer.
I got on the Powerwindows website and checked the "today in Rush history" page and was disappointed that I forgot. He already is over the hill(technically 36 would be over the hill for a male) But yeah, hell of a drummer. Anyone else heard that the new album is going to have an epic on it? Someone told me that he heard something about it happening.

Futuro 09-12-2006 08:52 PM

I hope so! Oh how I would love another golden era Rush, multi-part epic.

MeaninglessPhoto 09-12-2006 08:53 PM

Oh my god. I would kill for a new Rush epic song. IMO the best songs are the songs that are 7:00-21:00 minutes long.

Sync0pation 09-12-2006 08:54 PM

I set up my kit after 2 weeks. Playing on it today felt amazing. Especially with my new snare head.

Quinto 09-12-2006 09:07 PM

Is it just me or is MXDP unnatural slow these past few days

_Wrathchild_ 09-12-2006 10:40 PM

Likely because kids are back in school now and have less free time to post on here. There's always more kids posting in the summer.

Sunshine 09-12-2006 10:58 PM

About how many drugs do you think I would need to take to write something like that?

The heavy section makes most "metal" today look like nsync.

Jamie Muir had some crazy hands

I've been real unmotivated to put in some decent practice lately. I hate when that happens. I just sit down at my drums, and start playing for an hour, then realize "I accomplished nothing".

My mom's working night shifts, too, which means by the time she wakes up, my brother's getting home from school. Bummer.

Futuro 09-13-2006 12:24 AM

Practice on a pad. ;)

I have been working on different paradiddle ideas between limbs.

Corkofski 09-13-2006 12:39 AM

Damn, I think I love Penn and Teller. I really want to see their show. Watch this video:

I'm going to buy one of those pedal practice pads [you know with the weighty basses and uprights] and stick it under my desk at work to get some killer single-foot blasts going. imagine 35 hours of practice of just one foot per week for a few months! only $100AU for the setup.

that one guy was spray painting "vegan power". man what a fag.

good video link.

Win A Rabbit 09-13-2006 01:01 AM

I've wanted to set my pedals up under my computer desk but it's on a hardwood floor, and that'd be way too loud.
