He was being annoying in the Doc Marten thread but apart from that he was cool. He just needed time to learn not to be as annoying.

I avoided confrontation with him. The majority of his preaching and arguing was in the Doc Marten thread. Someone wanted opinions on which boots to get and he argued about how Doc Martens are just a fashion symbol, and that leather is wrong. There's no problem with voicing your opinion, but there's no need to argue about it in a thread where someone just wants help deciding what kind of footwear to purchase.

No, he was voicing his opinion and starting conversation/discussion which is what you do on musician forums. You guys just started name calling.

We really did overdo it. You're right. Everyone went about it in the wrong way. And I think 2 weeks is a bit long for a ban.
