$12 is probably the least expensive end of kitchen equipment prices but still, I couldn't imagine doing anything else with bacon other than frying it in pan and draining with paper towel

think of all the money you would save on paper towel

I actually like to bake bacon, putting it on a broiler pan and letting it sit in the oven at about 400 for like 15 minutes makes it really good, lose a lot less meat and drains a lot of the fat I find.
