There will be a greatest hits album. Knowing metallica, probably several.
12345

Probably the same album with four different covers so fan-boIs can buy all four. Maybe a different face on each one.

Bulldogabel 08-12-2004 09:40 AM
only in a few places though.

I still haven't seen it, though i don't live in LA or NY

/me hates "opening in selected theaters"
Yeah but if some movies are a big hit or have real good ratings, they eventually open the movie everywhere. And that's what they did. I'm guessing, because it opened up in Houston.

Bulldogabel 08-12-2004 09:48 AM

SKOM, and INVISIBLE KID, is probably the closest that we are gonna get to METALLICA sounding like thrash.

PsychoMits 08-12-2004 10:03 AM

Yeah, they are way better than Wiskey in the Jar.

DimebagDarrell 08-12-2004 10:30 AM

the interlude bit in sweet amber is the thrashiest bit in the album but the rest of the song is probably the least thrasiest on the album lol

The Bell Tolls 08-12-2004 11:57 AM

Slash_89 08-12-2004 02:28 PM

in my opinion the greatest metallica songs ive heard are No Leaf Clover, Enter Sandman, Fade to Black, One

Sandtrap 08-12-2004 02:35 PM

i like no leaf clover...its a cool song! And it has a orchestra(actually sometimes that makes songs sorta lame)

theunseencasualties822 08-12-2004 02:41 PM

they r the best metal ever

MetallicA-Disciple 08-12-2004 02:43 PM
what is your fav. song off kill 'em all?
Me I think it's oh ****, I have some! But I like so much Fuel and Eye of the Beholder! S'cuse for the fault I'm not good to write in this language.
in my opinion the greatest metallica songs ive heard are No Leaf Clover, Enter Sandman, Fade to Black, One
I understand that your favorites songs are Enter Sandman, One and Fade to Black because most of people that like this band like this song because they was so popular!

MetallicA-Disciple 08-12-2004 02:46 PM
they r the best metal ever
dont triple post buffoon.
those happen to be 3 of their best written songs. all 3 of those are some of my favorites.

Mother 08-12-2004 03:02 PM

Sanitarium > One

dead56k 08-12-2004 03:23 PM
Sanitarium > One
eh i disagree. i think one is just more powerful. to each his own.

gottiagoreallybad 08-12-2004 03:30 PM
I really hope your not talking about Some Kind Of Monster!? Because that's been out for a while now.
i don't really know what disc its of its when the played with the orchistra in ny(at least its the version i got), and I wouldn't say its like some kind of monster of the st.anger disc.

playguitar 08-12-2004 03:32 PM

One is better than sanitarium IMO, because the build up is so huge. It gets to the point where you can't wait for the solo. You just want to burst!

dead56k 08-12-2004 03:39 PM
i don't really know what disc its of its when the played with the orchistra in ny, and its no where near some kind of monster off thier new disc
what the hell are you talking about? speak english son!!

gottiagoreallybad 08-12-2004 03:46 PM
what the hell are you talking about? speak english son!!
I am talking about a song called Devils Dance (the name may be inncorrect). And the reason for that was a post by bulldogable who asked if it was the song some kind of monster. And i was responding to his question. cause its not the song some kind of monster. Its a song that they played with the really famous New York Orchistra. If you remember they did a special on it.

Stickmonkey1 08-12-2004 04:14 PM

who farted

Stickmonkey1 08-12-2004 04:16 PM

Orion still beats out every other song they did

GorbAcheV 08-12-2004 04:26 PM

Orion is a beautiful song.

gottiagoreallybad 08-12-2004 04:27 PM

i disagree with that but hey its ur opinion.

Daniel K 08-12-2004 04:36 PM

I think creeping death is there best song

gottiagoreallybad: Devils dance was #3 on reload, are you sure your not thinking of the San Francisco symphony with Michael Kamen. Unless you are talking about something totally different.

gottiagoreallybad 08-12-2004 04:41 PM

im not to sure but i know that it was with something like that. And thanks for the disc name and track #.

Daniel K 08-12-2004 05:06 PM

No problem man.

Yep

PandoraSBoX 08-12-2004 05:37 PM

didn't read page 2-2hundred and somthing

what do you guys think about the 3 basses they had?

I perfer cliff burton, he was definitly the metal section of the band and his live solos and fills are just great with his wah and distortion mix

His Curse (LT) 08-12-2004 05:41 PM

I can play Master Of Puppets on the guitar now, only very simply but it's a start for now! I can play the middle melodic part of the song okay, but heh, I'm even working on the solo!

:D

PandoraSBoX 08-12-2004 05:46 PM

Metal Child 08-12-2004 05:53 PM

No. They didn't IMO. They simply copied Iron Maidens Style and stole Diamond Heads Songs as their own. How is that Pride? BTW, Pride is involved in REVOLUTION.

The cold season drifts over the land.
They huddle in the brown corners. Some would settle for less.
The castles were all empty, asleep. Long awaiting their king.
Beckoning round the bend.
Amidst the forest one would hear that I had been there.
Draped within a fate I could not change, and always welcoming Winter´s Epilouge.

Kingofdudes 08-12-2004 06:44 PM
