Where the hell is Maryville? Never heard of it.

whiteminority 01-31-2006 03:23 PM

About 20 minutes from Knoxville.
Depends what your looking for. If you want music buisness and production and the likes, MTSU is the place to go. If you want more music studies and stuff go to Belmont in Nashville. But, ya MTSU for what your wanting. Good place to go, especially since its close to music city
Production, is what i'm going for.

Hot Cross Update:

We have booked time at Godcity for the last week of April. We hope to crank out a new full length that will drop sometime in the fall. A tentative working title for the record is Risk Revival. Also in the fall we will be hitting the US hard again to support the new release. So be on the lookout for a US tour in September or so. And most likely another US tour to end the year.

We also have some shows coming up in Feb and March:

02/12 Philadelphia, PA @ First Unitarian Church w/ Coliseum & Lords
03/09 NY, NY @ Syrup Room w/Plot to Blow Up, Akimbo, Genghis Tron, USAISAMONSTER
03/10 Syracuse, NY @ Westcott Comm. Center w/Mikoto & Cursed
03/11 Bellmore, NY @ LiveTrax w/Mikoto & Cursed
03/12 Poughkeepsie, NY @ Club Crannel w/Mikoto & Cursed

I just realized... we need a lot more emo/screamo reviews. I mean, a lot.

withering_rose 02-01-2006 10:13 AM

ahhh, its good to be back in this thread.

anyway, I discovered a good local band a few weeks back, The Kerosene Kids, they're more post-hardcore then emo, but check 'em out www.myspace.com/thekerosenekids

also, anyone know about any tours coming to AZ?

EDIT: and if anyone can, send me some Crimson Curse and Books Lie on slsk, my name on there is Myth 13 (I have an obsession with the number 13, leave me alone)

If I had faster internet, I'd send you some Crimson Curse. Maybe I could still send it, but it might take awhile.
Then write one fool. I'm pretty sure I've written half the reviews in there and that includes the Sunny Day Real Estate reviews I didn't write but are in that section for some weird reason.
I'm just going to do that. So, expect some. Just one thing, don't expect them to be that great until the hang of it.
I can't decide if I'd rather torment someone with Underoath or Atreyu.
Have you even heard old Underoath? It sounds nothing at all like the new stuff.

deadohiosky9 02-01-2006 06:00 PM

I can respect your opinion that old Underoath was good.
