Talking Heads are pretty darn good.
|
But every Talking Heads album is the best thing in the world, is it not?
No, not quite. |
Mmhmm.
|
How is Little Creatures? I see that everywhere for next to nothing.
|
I haven't given it much attention. I haven't enjoyed it much when I've listened.
|

I fail at life. Shut up I just got the cd today. :upset:
Edit: Wait, how would one go about pronouncing "Pere." Is it like "Pier," or "Pear," or is it French or something weird. |

Kings of Convenience right now. I tried listening to Converge before but it didn't work.
|
Opeth - Ghost Reveries (3.5/5)
Disappointed. I love Opeth, but this album is a definite move towards me agreeing with everything Zappa says about them. It's really formulaic and repeats their past work a lot. Still, worth it for a fan to pick up. |
I don't know of anyone so far who's been satisfied with the new Opeth.
And I've been digging: Beulah - The Coast Is Never Clear Squarepusher - Music Is Rotted One Note Boards of Canada - Geogaddi |
I tried listening to Converge before but it didn't work.
What album did you try? |
I henceforth declare that Get Behind Me Satan is excellent.
|
Evol
You're Living All Over Me Pajo |
I'm making today a HORSE the Band - R. Borlax day.

Citizen Cope
Bloc Party Frou Frou All amazing |

Oh well, there's only one good Roadrunner band anyway.
I tried listening to Converge before but it didn't work.
I thought you liked You Fail Me?:confuzzled: Billy Bragg! And The Weakerthans are underrated |
The Microphones - Mt. Eerie
Tortoise - S/T |
how's this?
It's good. Worth hearing if you like singer/songwriter stuff, for sure. |
Rift from Phish. It came out in the early 90's. Beautiful stuff. Check it out.

Waking up with Focus by Cynic. This record is pretty brainy, but it's also pretty great.
|
I just reliased, I have a TON of records I've never listened to to get through.
YSI *shakes fist* Better get cracking on that. Bene listening to Kraftwerk - Minimum-Maximum and Manic Street Preachers - Generation Terrorists in the hope of reviewing both. Doesn't seem to be happening. |
Smoking Popes - Born to Quit
^ imagine Morrissey fronting Alkaline Trio, and you have the best album ever.
Man that sounds like a good album! Just finished listening to The Raveonettes - Pretty In Black. It's ok but nothing too special (on first listen anyway) |
