Yea, I know. It just seems to me that people ignore the fact that when one needs a job, they get one. People automatically put down people that work at Hot Topic. I know plenty of people that work/have worked at Hot Topic that listen to real metal and hardly any of the crap that HT endorses. They simply needed a job and that's a fun, easy job to have.

I don't think fun is the right word to describe what it's like working at Hot Topic. More like humiliation.

Regardless of anybody's attitude towards HT, they still endorse some good bands, e.g. Satyricon, Amon Amarth, etc.

And I don't even wanna hear the bullshit from people who don't like those bands; that's not my point.

I really like the first Satyricon album, the next two aren't as good but I think alright. I never could get into Amon Amarth. The only good bands I know that HT endorses is Death and I guess bandwagon stuff like Metallica and Slayer.

They endorse Converge and Immortal as well :rolleyes:

I almost picked up the Converge DVD while I was in there.

oh yeah. but the Immortal shirt they have is really lame looking. dunno about Converge, I haven't given them a listen yet.

They have 2 different Immortal shirts.

One has the guy who's all oily and he's blowing flames above his head, the other is the 7 dates of Blashyrkh or whatever with Abbath in the middle sticking his tongue out.

I saw a Sons of Northern Darkness shirt at Hot Topic once...
