Did you change your AIM? Haven't seen you online in forever.

Edit: Nevermind. -_-
I haven't listened to them in awhile. Do they still use a drum machine?
They always have and will.

RetiredAt21 06-02-2007 06:01 AM

Word.

Converge#12 06-03-2007 01:11 PM

Why is grind such good driving music?

Gnarmageddon 06-03-2007 01:27 PM

HOLY S'HIT PIG DESTROYER AT DUDEFEST OMG OMG OMG OMG OMGOMGOMG

PS: Ben, I asked my friend if you could stay and he basically said no since he doesn't know you. BUT, if you go, you should just like hang out with us, and then when the first day is over kind of bring up that you need a place to stay, and he might let you crash.

whiteminority 06-04-2007 12:45 AM

Holy fucking shit, I think I'll attempt that most definitely.

It pumps you up!

Cop on Fire 06-04-2007 12:22 PM

Did any of you guys go to Maryland Deathfest?

Pacific Specific 06-05-2007 04:37 PM

Kawakami, lead guitarist/vocalist from Disclose is dead guys. too much beer and pills. RIP

RouteOne 06-05-2007 04:42 PM

What do you guys think of the new pig Destroyer?

Pacific Specific 06-05-2007 04:52 PM
What do you guys think of the new pig Destroyer?
It's alright. Just as good as anything else they've released. my favorite will always be prowler in the yard, though..

RouteOne 06-05-2007 04:58 PM

I'm split between 38 counts and Terrifyer. Their new stuff is good, but seems a bit more "structured" not sure how to put it.

Gnarmageddon 06-05-2007 06:35 PM

I like Phantom Limb best out of all their releases.

By structured do you mean better quality? Structure in grind is a good thing.

Edit: Don't take that last statement the wrong way.

Nah, idk...they seem less "thrashy".

Subvert_bassist 06-05-2007 10:33 PM

The new stuff is the best they've ever released.

whiteminority 06-06-2007 12:32 AM

The new stuff is excellent and still destroys, but like Pacific Specific said Prowler in the Yard is my favorite as well. There is just something about that album that gets to me, I love it.

That stuff always catches up with you sooner or later. I can't believe Seth Putnam is still alive.

Gnarmageddon 06-06-2007 08:26 AM

Phantom Limb > PITY > 38 Counts > Terrifyer > Explosions in Ward 6 > Painter of Dead Girls

imo

There's no way it beats 38 counts or Terrifyer, but to each their own.

Personally, I've never been a huge fan of just straight, traditional grind, but the new album is a step away from that, and I like that.

Yeah, seriously. It's pretty much common knowledge that you don't mix alcohol and any sort of pills. A guy I know said one night his friend took two percocet and then drank a beer. Next thing he knew, guy was asleep and he just never woke up. Shit sucks.

Pacific Specific 06-06-2007 06:39 PM

rip kawakami! i hope there is d-beat in hell

RetiredAt21 06-06-2007 06:40 PM
