Check the song that no one has mentioned yet which i think is the best of the album: Sealed With A Fist  great lyrics and a killer song.

possibly the biggest mistake making slipknot headline over slayer :upset: slayer just blow them away, no one wants to watch/listen to slipknot after slayer have just been on. Thats the exact same setlist as at Birmingham Gig.
Four Horsemen is better. But Phantom Lord is the best.
Got The Time is better than both of them!

RavenousMetalist87 10-10-2004 05:34 PM

Update: I now own 2 Sepultura CDs

I was at FYE today and I found Schizophrenia and Mobid Visions w/ Bestial Devastation EP, but they were over the top in terms of price. I decided to get Schizophrenia because I've heard most of it already, and I really liked it.

I've been finding some good CDs lately :)

black_sabbath634 10-10-2004 05:45 PM

ive noticed that all the mallcore kids like slayer so they will keep on touring with bands like slipknot
day 13 and still no Sodom cd's, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......... *getting angry at the mailman*
My advice would be to complain to the Post Office, man. That's what I would do.

When did you order them? Hell, bug the **** out of the place you ordered them from. I hate it when the places you order stuff from like have a long *** delay when they ship stuff...it's just so annoying because you get impatient and then you're like "What the hell is taking them so long?!?"

Arise 10-10-2004 07:23 PM

Yeah, maiorder ****ing sux. But I'm pretty much forced to use it, since there's not a single CD store around that sells anything more obscure than Metallica (and the occasional Pantera cs... Seriously folks, I **** you not. This is true).

I remember a few years back, I was buying the soundtrack to the South Park movie. I ordered it of the net, and the companies site said that they had it in stock, and delivery time was approx 3 days. Pffft, my *** it was! After three ****ing WEEKS, they sent me a letter saying that they didn't have the CD in stock, but that they would order one for me. Then, it took another three and a half weeks for them to let me know that they were completely out of stock, and wouldn't purchase any new ones from the label. ****ing cocksuckers! Eventually, they turned into such a putrid pile of **** that people stopped buying from them completely, and they were forced to declare bancrupcy. Serves 'em right, ****ers.

Aaaaaanyway, if all goes well with my mailorders, I'll have my new Dew-Scented, Sepultura, Alice In Chains and two Megadeth CD's in the mailbox in a few days. :naughty:

JMetallica 10-10-2004 10:15 PM

Yeah, i ordered a cd about a year and a half ago, still hasnt turned up. :p

RavenousMetalist87 10-10-2004 11:48 PM

I just checked where row F was on a site that had the area that will be hosting the Jagermeister Music Tour with Slayer and MAN, I got some wicked *** seats. It's a whole lot better than Ozzfest, because this time, I'm a lot more closer to the stage, but still about halfway back ._.

Hell, it's better than being stuck up in the Menzanne area...and balconies. Now if the rules dont' say I can take binoculars, I'm gonna take some just in case.

I am dying to go...and it's like 2 months away x_X

What great customer service...

And Slayer opening for Slipknot is just a sad reflection of the times, and the power of the media market.

Shred Danson 10-11-2004 08:54 AM

Wait, did I just read that correctly? Slayer OPENING for Slipknot?!?!?!

There shall be riots!

LordDargon 10-11-2004 10:00 AM

The reason mallcore kiddies like slayer is becuase it's a hell of a lot heavier than anything along the likes of Sh.itknot or Disturbed. So they think "Wow, this is heavy, I better listen to it so I can continue pretending to be metal!"

DisposableHeroes 10-11-2004 10:21 AM

DimebagDarrell 10-11-2004 12:08 PM

Just bought Shadows Fall - The War Within and borrowed Mastodon - Leviathan.

Firstly Shadows Fall = Not great but not terrible some tracks were alright but not quite brillaint, i belive this band has potential to make it big in a few years time

Secondly Mastodon = This album is great not your ordinary album its my first listen so far and im getting quite into it.

Shadows Fall is currently "hitting it big", in my opinion.

Slayer opening for slipknot, what's the world coming to?
A lot of that going around at the moment tho. I heard that machine head recently opened for chimaira. I like both equally but it's fair to say that the latter would not exist without the former and in any case you'd expect chimaira to open for machine head, but like i said it's a topsy-turvy world.

RCA 10-11-2004 03:40 PM

Today I got:

Sadus - Swallowed In Black
Destroyer 666 - Cold Steel...For An Iron Age

Both albums fvcking kick ***. D666 are amazing!!!

manuscriptreplica 10-11-2004 07:30 PM

I'm getting Blind Guardian - A Night at the Opera and the new Darkthrone today, if it's out. Reports later tonight!

MC5 10-11-2004 07:33 PM
wtf? Slayer were opening for slipknot? bah.
Why aint Slayer opening? They have more and better CDs out, a wider fan base, and have more talent and skill, and are experienced. All Slipknot has is a bunch of stupid masks.Slipknot should bow down to Slayer while being beaten to death with a warlock guitar.

sensitiveorgan00 10-11-2004 07:49 PM

Shi.t, I really want to get teh Blind Guardian dvd. But I'm so broke now, all my money goes to lunch and drum lessons that I recently started.

FatalEnergy 10-11-2004 08:19 PM

yeah the whole Slayer - Slipknot incident is pretty bad, who in the hell would have ever of thought of doing something that dumb. Its sad how this new generation only likes this nu-metal mallcore Slipknot ****, its ****ing ridiculous. If anyone in here has kids make sure they arent listening to crapass music, and if they are, GO OUT AND BUY THEM BENEATH THE REMAINS OR SOMETHING.

Im only 15 so Im considered to be in this "generation", I guess, but at least I know ****ty *** music from the good stuff

FatalEnergy 10-11-2004 08:23 PM
