I started posting in the Hardcore/metalcore thread back when it used to be in the punk forum. Soon Dfelon had is uprising.

I never really fit in as much as the other guys. Or at least it never felt as friendly as this place. The elitism of hardcore was a little much. I spent so much time trying to impress people with musical knowledge that I didn't have much fun.

Around here, no need to try. I can be as arrogant as I want because I'm a vet here. It has it's perks.

I seriously idolize Scott. He has the best taste in music ever. Plus, he knows everything.

...He can be an butthole though. Took me a long time to get on his good side, although I had to be careful enough to censor what I say when posting around him to not say anything to piss him off or make him think I was lame. Well, a major reason why I stoped posting there was that I stopped learning of anyone good. I think Ramallah was the only band I found on there from a thread not Hardcore/Metalcore. It's just kind of a bleh forum, I suppose.

There's a Matt in my school who goes by "Sully". I always found it annoying when people go by their last name. You're given a first name for a reason. That's what people should call you. Oh well.
