back , the usual " you need to work harder" apparently a 3.5 GPA isnt good enough , with the amount of effort i put into school (none) i consider that good

That is a VERY good GPA. Mine's a 4.1, but ours if out of 4.2, seeing as below a 75 is failing.

Yeah, that's awesome, man. Next year, I'm definitely taking AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP English. There's talk about them beginning a half-year organic chemistry course, too. I'd definitely take that. I'm taking religion, too, because it's required.
are blue steels good?
It depends. If you like bright tones and a very "steely" feel in your strings, then yes. If you prefer groundwound or flatwound strings and like a mellow/bassy tone, then no.

i think im gnna get em.
i play metal, jazz, and wooten/solo stuff.
what would you suggest. im a cheepass by the way.

bottlerocket 02-02-2005 06:09 PM

^ Rotosound all the way. I forget the exact type I use, but they're roundwounds. I hate flatwounds on fretted basses.

I think the name of fretless strings I prefer are Jazz 77s (Rotosound).

No one cares at all except for the religion teachers. They're the facist Catholics who think everything is evil. Honestly, socially, it's just like public school (from what I hear), we just have religion class and the classes are more difficult.

Between 20-30 bucks.

From the steels, you'll get a very bright and trebly tone. Perfect for slap or punk.

From the Rotosounds, you get a mellower tone than the steels and they can be used in everything. Chris Squier, Steve Harris, and countless others use Rotosounds. I do, too.

I went to a private kindergarten-8th grades school for 9 years. The only thing it did is turn me against catholocism, really.

The hot girls in skimpy skirts were a plus though/.

At some (or maybe most, yes.)

At a local highschool in my old town, 4 years of theology was required
