Don't worry, I'm working on it. I'm taking I Am Ghost now, and I'll probably try to grab something else before I go to bed. :)
I'll have to restart slsk soon since i just reloaded my librry and added like 25 albums or so

Do it after I finish this album, so I can see what's new. <_<

I wish I could download off Spence. :(

Permanent Solution 04-16-2006 11:03 PM

spence has all wma bs though and half of it's protected, it's so lame.

MattSharpIsCool 04-16-2006 11:04 PM

I havent been able to use my Limewire since last July because I havent had internet. I have so many songs to d/l, when I finally get the chance, there will be fire and brimstone.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:04 PM
spence has all wma bs though and half of it's protected, it's so lame.
Heh, he listens to some interesting music though.

.wma's are lame though. Especially protected ones, since I can never get the liscense.

B 04-16-2006 11:06 PM

I think it's 'cause he has a Zen like me and they can take .wma's which are generally smaller in size and therefore more music fits.

I don't mind it I just convert them.

Permanent Solution 04-16-2006 11:06 PM

meh, his and my tastes don't align as well as others.

exactly. i can't even burn it and reimport because he has 0 privileges...it's so dumb. I hate wma.

seth: eh, limewire sucks anyways...uber virus-y.

edit: you can't convert protected wmas, it is impossible short of re-ripping them on a sound card which is a huge pain, easier to d/l somewhere else.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:08 PM

I listen to most of my music on my computer since my iPod is full, so .wma's aren't a huge deal, but if they are protected, it becomes a problem.
meh, his and my tastes don't align as well as others.
I like a lot of what he listens to. I'd always be willing to try a new grind band or something if I could access his files.

DJ Ducksauce 04-16-2006 11:09 PM

I'm enjoying Move Along-AAR atm.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:10 PM

I'm seeing them on Friday.

Too bad it's an arena show. :(

DJ Ducksauce 04-16-2006 11:11 PM

I still need to go to a show. Get my license June 19 though. w00t!

you can selectively update your ipod :)

mehr, grind.

AAR is good, esp the new CD.

I put the new CD aside when I first heard it, but I'm liking it now.

I might get my permit in a couple days. I hope the test isn't hard though, because I'm doubt I'll study, especially since it's spring break.
you can selectively update your ipod
I know, but I really have to be in the mood to do it. For now I'm content with the 16,000+ songs that are on there.
mehr, grind
Grind is okay. Some is good, some sucks.
AAR is good, esp the new CD.
Truth.

Permanent Solution 04-16-2006 11:14 PM

It does grow a bit, but it's def quality. I like about half of the songs a lot but there's none I recall disliking.

16k+? crazy crazy kid.

meh, I've never found any I like. I like some noisy bands, but grind doesn't do anything for me.

B 04-16-2006 11:14 PM

I like AAR

ps: I've never gotten a protected file from Spence.

Edit: I could've had my permit almost 4 months ago but I don't feel like studying and therefore won't pass the test.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:15 PM
ps: I've never gotten a protected file from Spence.
I can't get into his files. :( :(

I download a ton of music off Griffin.

Permanent Solution 04-16-2006 11:16 PM

i've gotten something like 4 so i kinda gave up cuz it's too hit and miss.

ps nice b-ran, i did just add that one in fact.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:18 PM
16k+? crazy crazy kid.
I download too much music. :(
meh, I've never found any I like. I like some noisy bands, but grind doesn't do anything for me.
I only like grind with high-pitched vocals.
Edit: I could've had my permit almost 4 months ago but I don't feel like studying and therefore won't pass the test.
Same. Except I've heard that the test here is easy as hell.
ps nice b-ran, i did just add that one in fact.
Thought so.

DJ Ducksauce 04-16-2006 11:20 PM

The written test for Texas is sooo easy. I got a 100 with bonus.

After that we do 7 hours observation and 6 hours driving + the test which is another hour pretty much.

I just need the last hour and then I'll have to wait till June.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:21 PM

I have no idea what happens after you get your permit here. I think you just have to wait six months to take the road teast, basically.

ps. Stay Gold rules. Everyone should check them out.

Permanent Solution 04-16-2006 11:23 PM

justin: that's so little jebus.

you need 10 night time and 50 total hours in co to test for the license.

DJ Ducksauce 04-16-2006 11:23 PM

Same here pretty much. You can get your permit at 15 then you have to have it at least 6 mos. before you can get your license at 16.

V: Holy shizzy. Is that anywhere or at the driving place?

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:24 PM

Here, permit is at 16, and then I think you can get your liscense 6 months after that.

Permanent Solution 04-16-2006 11:26 PM

anywhere.

with the permit you can drive under supervision of any over 21 adult and they sign off on your hours.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:27 PM

Vince, get an avatar.

DJ Ducksauce 04-16-2006 11:27 PM

Oh, well that's not too bad then. We have the 14 hours at the driving school and we basically practice wherever with someone 21+ in passenger seat.

It is so easy to get your liscense down here.

/agrees with brian

B 04-16-2006 11:29 PM

Our test is more difficult than the American one then :-\

We get our permit at 16 and have to wait a year, or 8 months with driver's ed.

DJ Ducksauce 04-16-2006 11:30 PM

The north seems more strict about driving than here.

meh, some people do it all at driving school, just depends. i did it all w/ my parents.

brian:why?

b:it's easier to drive in america than anywhere else i think.

so my roommate just went to bed and i'm playing radiohead loudly but he can't tell me to turn it down because i know he likes it. i win.

Because, it get's confusing with multiple posters having no avatar.

I confused your posts and Jon's posts a few times tonight.

Sounds about right for Canada.

We kill Mexicans down here. :)

But really, anyone can get a license here. A lot of people who can't drive worth a flip and a lot of wreckless ones too. Kinda scary.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:38 PM

Two out of three of you guys (Brandon, Jon, and Vince) need to get avatars at least.

I'm listening to this band called Holier Than Thou. Really good band. Thrash I think.

BIRNA: "GET AWAY FROM MY BEAVER YOU DIRTY SOUTHERNER"

DJ Ducksauce 04-16-2006 11:40 PM

Isn't that a Metallica album as well?

Spence needs to restore Jon's avatar.

Mute Print 04-16-2006 11:40 PM
Isn't that a Metallica album as well?
It's a Metallica song on the black album (self-titled).

Fair enough.

Brandon is a scenester, of course he wants to follow the trend.
