My parents know and don't give a crap.
Haha, My Dad still doesn't know I'm doing it. I don't think he'd care if he found out anyway. He only uses the computer for E-Mail.
I dunno, he's paranoid like that.

I gotta purge my iPod though, and convert everything to AAC on my computer...that way, I can fit more crap on it.

Lord Abortion 12-30-2005 02:29 PM
Him too. A common misconception is that he's the only Cannibal Corpse fanboy around here, which is not true. I also love CC.
True, true, you were slightly irritable when I had "MX Cannibal Corpse Fanboy" as my usertitle...

i am the robots 12-30-2005 02:30 PM

Well it doesn't matter, Cannibal Corpse is trash.

Shadows 12-30-2005 02:32 PM

Sounds like someone is a little envious.
True, true, you were slightly irritable when I had "MX Cannibal Corpse Fanboy" as my usertitle...
Not irritable, just sad that I was left out of all the gore. :(

Tyler 12-30-2005 02:32 PM

You know, I've never really heard Cannibal Corpse. I mean, I saw them in the first Ace Ventura, but I don't think that counts.

Envious of what? Your ability to consider a horrendous attempt at musicianship good?

EDIT: I'm just trolling you guys, I actually like a few CC tunes.

Haha, such a good episode. God South Park is so good, too bad retarded kids tend to ruin it for me.

Shattered_Future 12-30-2005 02:38 PM

Yes, I knew one kid who (I think) watched the South Park Movie 4 times in a row. I wanted to break his pelvis...

That kid tends to bastardize a lot of stuff for me...lucky I haven't spoken to him in a while.

It's okay, we all have those times where we just sit back and lawl at each other.

Yes, and I really enjoy trolling Ollie for some odd reason, and I thought, while I was at it, I'd take a shot at another CC fanboy :p.

NP: Underoath - The Last

Yep, still listening to the same song, God, Underoath's death metal material was so good.

Yeah, so do I, now it's just offensive stuff done by Atheist kids from WoW trying to actually take shots at Christianity.

Everyone likes to troll Ollie. It's his English personality.

:( What do people have against fanboys?

Shattered_Future 12-30-2005 02:43 PM
Wow, I havent Watched South Park in ages!
Speaking of Comedy Central shows, I watched a riduculous amount of Drawn Together last night...

That is a messed up show.

I dislike Cannibal Corpse, simply because if you record over their albums with more of their albums, there's no difference.

Sirenia is pissing me off...I can't tell if the chick is doing the growled vocals or if that's the guitarists. Both do vocals.

Luckily the random Chuck Norris facts are still flowing. Oh, and I thought the first season of Drawn Together was hilarious, it just ended a fewonths ago up here in Canada (we dont get Comedy Central, so we get shows a little later, we're in the middle of Season 9 south park.) Comedy Network, ftl :(

They get irritating at times, like when I mention Korn or In Flames.

The WoW kids are starting to bastardize those now too, they've already done so to the Vin Diesel facts, now when you go to crossroads there are some fags here and there killing the Norris and Mr. T facts now too.

Shattered_Future 12-30-2005 02:45 PM

Fanboys are really stupid at times.

There's a few (like me, I think) where the fanboyism isn't to a riduculous degree.

Although Nightwish is still the single greatest band on the face of the Earth. :thumb:

I understand. Like me with Shadows Fall, Children of Bodom, or Arsis.

But taking shots at one's favorite band just hurts oh so much. :(

That little after thought was genius.

I have to say you're wrong though, it's definately either Underoath when it was Dallas, James, Corey, Octavio, and Aaron, or In Flames when it was Anders, Glenn, Jesper, Johann, and Bjorn.

That band sounds pretty unoriginal, I mean, just amalgamating three other band's names into theirs...

You'd think that, but it's actually one of the most unusual bands I've ever heard. There's no constant thought really. It goes from an American metal song to a melodic death track to some kind of power metal. It's like an acid trip.

And then some pr0n.

Shattered_Future 12-30-2005 02:52 PM
Will you still be saying that without Tarja (sp?)?
Probably. Tarja just provided vocals for the band...she didn't write ****. Although she will be sorely missed...:(

Ben, don't be so blatanly religious.

I rather liked Drawn Together, aside from some really disturbing moments.

Ahh, so it's just Underoath's first two ablums minus the black metal parts?

I think that the singer in Watchtower might just be worse than the singer for Cacophony. Maybe...

Hehe, I hate you guys the least.

Probably.

I dunno, I'm afraid of Underoath, after samples their 2 recent albums almost caused me to spontaneously combust to ease the pain.

I'm seeing them in NYC on the 18th at B.B. Kings. Gonna be one of the greatest shows ever. :)

English people are alright, even if your comedy sucks ***.

Toronto. It was them or Finntroll, but I dont drink, and if I were to see Finntroll, I'd probably have to start. Plus they were both $25, or I'd have gone to both. I've never actually been to a power metal show, I'm stoked.

Haha, I like The Changing of Times and They're Only Chasing Safety a lot too :upset:. It's just that Act of Depression and Cries of the Past are a lot more Metal, though there are some very good death metal segments on The Changing of Times (like in A Message for Adrienne).

They made a progression when they lost and gained members. They started off with the line-up of Dallas Taylor - Vocals, Corey Steger - Guitar, James Smith - Guitar, Octavio Fernandez - Bass, and Aaron Gillipsie - Drums, then on Cries of the Past their keyboardist joined and they got a lot better, then on The Changing of Times, Corey and Octavio quit, and were replaced by Chris and Grant who really aren't that good at Guitar and Bass, and then while they were touring Dallas quit the band. They then replaced him with Spencer Chamberlain who can scream so much better than him, but also has a knack for lapsing into generic emo singing, and had Aaron do a lot of singing too (same kind of emo singing). James still does some pretty cool riffs, and Aaron's drumming is still really good though.

Tyler 12-30-2005 03:12 PM

UnderOath? Death-Metal? I never thought I'd hear those two words go together...

(I realize it's technically four words, but suck my nuts)

I saw the Finntroll concert too...if Sonata wasn't playing, I'd have definately gone to see that.

Supposedly, weren't Underoath's earlier releases really, really long? Didn't they have 10+ minute songs?

EDIT: Ok, I have just pressed the button to convert 4300 songs to AAC format. Now we wait...
