"You're bleeding on my coat..."

lol great movie, lived up to expectations. The cinematography (even though it was something like 95% Green Screen) was very well done, acting was great.
Anyhoo, off to work. Bye. lol

rockindrummer 09-02-2005 08:29 PM

Have fun.

OMG I FINALLY BOUGHT MY NEW BEATS!

Yes, after waiting for a store in my area to stock them other than GC for 3 months, I finally bought them......at GC :(

Couldn't wait any longer actually, had to get them.

I loved the ones at my school, but these aren't quite as orgasmic as I thought they would be. Yes they're better then my old Wuhan hats, but not by much. Oh well, like with my AA crash I wasn't that impressed with it when I bought it, but now I love it. Hopefully the same will happen.

Senseless Apprentice 09-02-2005 11:27 PM

Yeah, cymbals can grow on you, just like a song. I'm sure you'll love em in no time.

Half Life 09-02-2005 11:31 PM

Nice buy Seafroggy's :thumb: New Beats are great hats. I'm sure after you break them in they will sound phenomenal. Just give them some TLC and they'll really open up

rockindrummer 09-02-2005 11:52 PM

Those are awsome hats man. They should sound a lot better to you after they break in.

xgretschx 09-02-2005 11:59 PM

All i know is i love mine and everyone that has herd them has loved them to.

spike9908 09-03-2005 08:03 AM

new beats are amazing hats. im still deciding between them and 14" paiste 2oo2 crunches. both are great alone, i wonder what would happen if i mixed them? i try to find that out next time im at dales.

Drum Phil 09-03-2005 09:08 AM
I believe it's called a jingle ring. JB used it alot.
mines neither. Its a proper tambourine with a mount for it to go on a cymbal/percussion/hi-hat stand

GhostGrooveMike 09-03-2005 09:24 AM

The tabourine is nice and proprer

poppinfresh 09-03-2005 10:06 AM

GhostGrooveMike 09-03-2005 10:09 AM

There's actually been a lot of boring threads lately.

spike9908 09-03-2005 11:02 AM

yeah, and everything on the forum has really slowed down the past few days too. probably because everyone is back in school all day. i still have until wednsday though.

Voodoo Rabbit 09-03-2005 11:03 AM

Well, Just got back from a really fun Band Practice...

We were just sitting there, and the Guitarist started playing something 'Funk'-ish, So I joined in (Playing on my table-top electric kit), then the singer started improvising, and later the Bassist.*

Needless to say, it sounded weird, but it was fun.

Then, we came up with several other songs of different styles, and have created a new side-project, which involved us wearing lipstick on our faces and dressing up in some clothes we found in the Guitarists' room. (A 'Jazzy' hat, A red sheet, and some weird net stuff around my head, for me)

Well, who'd ever have thought you could create a side project from a song called 'Shelia and Cognac'?...

I guess Oregon starts later then most places.

Normally if I was in high school i'd be starting this Wednesday (9/7) but since I"m going ton Oregon public college I'm starting there on the 26th.

Heheh I love it.

rockindrummer 09-03-2005 02:20 PM

^ lucky, I start high school on tuesday. But we only go in for an hour then leave so I truly start wednesday.

spike9908 09-03-2005 02:25 PM
^ lucky, I start high school on tuesday. But we only go in for an hour then leave so I truly start wednesday.
thats pretty pointless. we basically do the same thing on the last day. i go back wednesday which is going to suck.

styler 09-03-2005 02:30 PM

aye, same for me, an hour on tuesday and then class on wednesday

lol i thought the reviews on Musiciansfriend were all madeup like most sites are, till i saw this review on the remo roto-toms

I own a TAMA Swingstar 5-peice (of course its an 8-peice now). Adding these things to any kit is fun. If you tune the next tom, after the roto toms, high then go a little lower to each tom after that it sounds insane. I have only one big beef with these things. Taking them apart is kinda annoying but, if you don't like move you're drumset much or have practices over you're house it will eliminate that problem. Also, try doing buzz rolls up and down the roto toms it sounds awesome. Definetly buy them, if you don't you're gay!!

well now i believe there real, lol

Jezen 09-03-2005 02:31 PM

Man I have sooooo amny assignements due on Wednesday. Haven't started a single one.

Der Meister 09-03-2005 02:34 PM

I'm in sixth form and we have to wear a suit. It's so hot in lessons.

Voodoo Rabbit 09-03-2005 03:00 PM

^ We have to wear blazers. They're really itchy and too big for me because I'm short.

I'm just waiting for my chicken to finish cooking, then I'm repeating last night's performance and watching some movies.

And right now, I am listening to a song that was recorded at today's Band Practice, under the alias of 'Commander Herring2B5' *('Rustlin' Bacon Through A Field')*...

rockindrummer 09-03-2005 03:03 PM
