I'd love to get my hands on Grin. Paralyzed, Mesmerized is sooooo ****ing awesome.

Hmm, come to think of it, I'd love to get my hand on any Coroner album for that matter
I have all five :thumb:

Paralyzed, Mesmerized isn't even the best song, have you heard 'Grin (Nails Hurt)' and 'Internal Conflicts'?

ForiegnPenguin 01-26-2005 08:04 AM
Razor - Violent Restitution (YES!!!)
Destruction - Eternal Devastation
Artillery - Terror Squad
Nuclear Assault - Game Over and Survive are both good

Look up the Razor site, they have a couple of tracks off Violent... on it.
Much Appreciated...Rep+ for all

ThrashMaster27 01-26-2005 08:28 AM

You might have a bit of trouble picking up Razor albums at music stores. I've only ever seen Decibels about the place. Mind you there's always Amazon and crap, that's where I picked up Evil Invaders from. Personally that's my fave...it's got some killer tracks on it.

ForiegnPenguin 01-26-2005 08:59 AM

I have yet to see a Razor album in a music store near me. Thank god for Amazon and Ebay.

metal-militia 01-26-2005 11:53 AM

I saw Violent Restition on Amazon, so i may have to pick that up. Also, Artillery's Relics album is on there too which i might get. Infact, theres about 20 things i want off amazon, but ive got no money :(

For Destruction you can get the first few LP's/EP's together in one pack for about £10 :thumb:

Does anyone here like Hades? I've got Resist Success (Sp?) and thought it was pretty good.

Corporal Compendia 01-26-2005 02:26 PM

Might? GET IT!

Violent Restitution! You ain't seen nothin' yet!

LordDargon 01-26-2005 02:34 PM

Don't remind me about that, I ordered it from amazon about 2 months ago, when it never came after about a month I didnt even bother to chase them up about it about it and like an idiot went and bought in the shop, then I got an email from amazon saying sorry for the delay/any inconvenience etc, so long story short, I have 2 copies of that pack now  .I guess it will become the only real album in my car now :D

Fallen Zero 01-26-2005 03:29 PM

Has anyone heard of Susperia? They can probably be described as mainstream-ified thrash. I seem to like them quite a bit. I have their newest release "Unlimited" and was wondering if their older stuff was better, worse, or anything else...

metal-militia 01-26-2005 03:44 PM

Never heard of them, but i'm guessing they are a new band, and I dont particularly like new thrash

Eh, from the description it'd be like the metalcore/thrash crap thats prevalent now. I haven't heard the band but...

There are some great new thrash bands out there, you just have to look for them.

metal-militia 01-26-2005 03:55 PM

Yeah, there has been a few good bands people have posted the sites to here, but the majority of what i hear labelled as "new thrash" is pure ****

sensitiveorgan00 01-26-2005 05:39 PM
Yeah, there has been a few good bands people have posted the sites to here, but the majority of what i hear labelled as "new thrash" is pure ****
Agreed. The so called 'death/thrash' bullshi.t from Sweden ala The Haunted, Carnal Forge, etc sucks my as.s. We want real thrash, not garbage.

Susperia has some members from Dimmu Borgir if I recall correctly.

CaptainWaits 01-26-2005 05:50 PM

Does anyone know much about Speed Kill Hate??

They're very much a Testamentesque sounding band. So you know, not that great.

NP: Slayer - Circle of Beliefs

ThrashMaster27 01-27-2005 03:53 AM

Has anyone even mentioned that Overkill are releasing a new album in March? I don't remember seeing it mentioned. Well anyone that's not in the know...

ReliXIV will be released on the 22nd of March.

ArcLite 01-27-2005 03:56 AM

Haven't seen it mentioned, but I recall hearing about it somewhere. Definitely looking forward to it. You heard anything about it other than release date?

ThrashMaster27 01-27-2005 04:06 AM

Well there's the track listing...

01. Within Your Eyes
02. Love
03. Loaded Rack
04. Bats In The Belfry
05. A Pound Of Flesh
06. Keeper
07. Wheelz
08. The Mark
09. Play The Ace
10. Old School

I duno dude, both Dew-Scented and newer Testament are playing death-thrash, and they're both **** good bands. And Sepultura played death-thrash.. that is, before they turned into a ****puddle

I was trying to download Mortuary off this one guy just now, but I somehow got queued in the middle of the album. :upset:

I mentioned everything about 4 weeks ago :p

I can't wait for it, I hope 'Kill loses the groove-ish sound that they had on Killbox, and with a track entitled "Old School", one can assume that it has the potential to unleash hell.

Another good Razor recommendation: OPEN HOSTILITY :chug:

NP: Overkill - Frankenstein

ThrashMaster27 01-27-2005 09:05 AM

Did you? well **** me sideways! I never noticed. Yeah, but Megadeth had a track called 'Back In The Day' and they didn't exactly go back to their Thrash roots, although I did enjoy that album.

NP: Carcass - Pyosified (Still Rotten To The Gore)

RCA 01-27-2005 09:12 AM

True, but this is Overkill. Not Megadave.

Corporal Compendia 01-27-2005 02:16 PM

A friend of mine has a promo of the new Overkill. He says it's good, solid Overkill...better than Killbox.
