Salvia is ****ing ace.
Legal, and everything went like kinda 2-d. Lost all depth perception and laughed on the floor hysterically for a few minutes. NINE INCH NAILS EUROPEAN TOUR 2007! |
So, anybody here ever tried Salvia? And also, is Hooka addictive like cigarettes? I'm considering doing both tomorrow. I like hooka (double-apple, ftw?!), but if it's addictive, I'm going to stop. Never tried Salvia though. I've heard it's crazy. Like, 10x the hallucinogenic power of acid, no damaging effects, and a very short high.
I've done salvia. It may be classed as a hallucinogen, but from my trip, I will tell you that it isn't a hallucinogen like acid or mushrooms. I took a fat bong hit of salvia, then I don't remember anything that happened around me, what I said or did, then after about 10 minutes I was back to normal. It was like I had blacked out, then I came off it pretty instantly and everything was back to normal. During the trip, there was a hell of a lot going on in my head, I was basically stuck in there for the duration of the trip, but then when I came out it was as though nothing had happened. I can tell you all about it if you want to hear... I've told the story before, tried to describe it many times, but it's very hard to really tell about. And a hooka is a device used for smoking. You mix the pot and flavored tobacco (I think that's what it is) together and have a huge (HUUUUUUUUGE) session... well, once I had one that lasted over an hour between 5 of us. It's not addictive. |
ok. i dont have time for all that now, but i will do it as soon as i get home.
ATM, i'm grading papers (the only downside of being a teacher aide) but i'll have the final thing done tonite for sure.
Yeah, okay. Sounds good. Make sure to edit your name in there. |
Yeah, okay. Sounds good. Make sure to edit your name in there.
How come you don't thank me for anything? :upset: |
Is a hookah basically a shisha?
|
How come you don't thank me for anything? :upset:
You're one of those miscellaneous people who fall under the last thanks part. :p |
Is a hookah basically a shisha?
A hookah is a bong-like device. Shisha is the flavored tobacco that is often smoked in a hookah. |

will do. hah, can i use: Kyle "British Kid" Alinder or do you want to be proffessional and just have Kyle Alinder? |
will do.
hah, can i use: Kyle "British Kid" Alinder or do you want to be proffessional and just have Kyle Alinder?
You can put whatever you want. If I wanted to be professional, I wouldn't be printing these all out at home. By the way, I've got a label maker so I can apply the cover art to CDs. Presumably, it should still work with that image? |

Has anyone heard the Eminem song Crazy In Love?
He has some of the sickest flow I've ever heard in that song, the beat is pretty cool, and the lyrics are great. download.yousendit.com/8F6807FE2D598823 There it is. I cared enough to upload it, so you should care enough to download it. Tell me what you think! I think it's awesome. |
Eminem eats poo. Then sings it in his songs
Eminem eats poo. Then sings it in his songs
Cool. How about listening to the song rather than generalizing? Or does that make too much sense? |
Cool.
How about listening to the song rather than generalizing? Or does that make too much sense?
So I definitely wasn't expecting this song to open up with a Heart sample. |
So I definitely wasn't expecting this song to open up with a Heart sample.
 It's pretty classic. But Eminem is absolutely nuts/awesome on this song... I think so, anyway. |

What's repetitive? I think his rhythm and flow throughout the song is absolutely ridiculous. It's damn good and pretty hard to pull off as he does. |
It's bad, like all his music, its just so repetitive and his voice is annoying after about 30secs.
|
What's repetitive?
I think his rhythm and flow throughout the song is absolutely ridiculous. It's damn good and pretty hard to pull off as he does.
Well, just the beat and his rhythm is repetitive, to me. It flows well, but I was just getting bored. Keep in mind that rap isn't my favorite genre by a long shot. |
Rap isn't close to my favorite genre either, but I don't let genres restrict what I listen to. If something sounds good, regardless of genre, I'll listen to it.
Beats usually are fairly simple. Rap isn't really about complexity when it comes to the music. Again with repetitive rhythm, that's pretty common... in every genre of music. :p Seriously, when it comes to a particular song, vocals tend to follow a pattern. A guitar riff or bass riff will be just as repetitive as vocals when it comes down to it. But I still don't see how it's so repetitive, or THAT repetitive that you'd lose interest. I think it sounds pretty damn good. |
I can't say I love the flow in this song. Also I am not a big fan of Em's voice. It's definitely the best song I have heard by him though.

Does anyone have any good information about Jaco's life not related to his music? I am making an ofrenda for him in Spanish class.
|
It no longer exists? He was bipolar? Stuff like that?
|
Or we could not dissect the fact that it's just not my cup of tea. :p
I was just curious. :p I'm not saying you have to like it, I was just wondering what you didn't like about it, since you didn't really. |
Casual thread.

I'm looking for more personal if I can. Stuff about his personality not related to bass or mental illness. Likes and dislikes and stuff. So far I know he loved basketball.
I figure I'm fine basically bsing this, but I'll see what I can find. I doubt my teacher knows who he is, so I should be fine. |

Don't buy the 60X packaged stuff, didn't work for me. For being almost as expensive as coke and then NOT WORKING it really pissed me off. I've also heard good things about how the peppermint flavored kind tastes, may want to check that out? |

Did the time on the forum not change for daylight savings time for anyone else?
