Petrucci is BORING AS HELL. He just stands there and hammers out his 64th note whatever solos...

Romeo is as good as him, but he actually feels the music. Plus, we were close enough to see him bust out all his solos. :D

Petrucci does way more than "hammer out 64th notes". He also shows tons of emotion.

Petrucci isn't as boring as people make him out to be. He does concentrate really hard and lets it show but he's not as boring as people say he is. I think he's probably best at picking and not as proficient in tapping/sweeping as Romeo or Batio. He played an emotional/improv solo at the end of In The Name of God and it seriously proved his ability to pull notes out of the guitar with his soul rather that wank-off.

Russell Allen covered Romeo's eyes while he was soloing :amaze: .

Meh, most all Dream Theater bores me to tears. They're all extremely talented musicians but I think they're terrible, terrible songwriters.

I just found this awesome program called Sweet Guitar, it is like guitar pro, but the sound isn't midi, it's much closer to real. The problem is I wanna get the full version but I don't wanna pay (yes I know, I'm a crook). The demo only plays 30 bars, unlike guitar pro's demo whcih will play however many, just not save over 24.

No, perkele means devil or demon.
