Hey You would be a great cover song for this kind of competition.

It would be hard to do some of their more well known songs, like Comfortably Numb, Time, etc. Lots of people have heard them, so they would set this precedent in their mind about how the song should sound, and what not.

Bus, would you mind recording/uploading some stuff, for kicks? If you already have some stuff up, that would be even better.

I agree. I hate all those stoners that think that just because they smoke weed that it is their obligation to listen to Pink Floyd. Most of them aren't even true fans of the music and if you ask them what their favorite song is by them, they'll either mention some really popular song that everybody knows or they'll say the classic: "It doesn't matter, they're all amazing!" or something to that extent.

Who cares whether or not they listen to it or if they are just pretending to be fans because they smoke? It really doesn't matter. They're the ones missing out, not us.

That would be grand. And it's true about what they said about Nick Mason. He told an interviewer that the only way they would consider of comming together again would be for some higher cause, something like a Live Aids (yes, he does mention Live Aids on that interview), but not for personal gain.

It would be awesome if that comes to fruition.

I think a reunion is way over-due. At least a once in a lifetime. They should put the difference aside, specially for an even like thist. A Pink Floyd reunion... only having them at the bill would make it a once-in-a-lifetime thing, so they would raise a lot of money.

They haven't played together in so long that they probabley just don't want to anymore. Plain and simple really.

I've heard about those rumors ever since I've been a fan of Pink Floyd. I doubt they will ever reunite.

With this mentality, I won't be dissapointed by the reality that they won't, but if they ever do a reunion concert, I will be doubly surprised and excited.

Pulse was only 10 years ago and that was great, I think they'll be good on Live Aid now, even if they don't get to play long.

it will be incredible, just because they're all together, but i have a feeling by this time Aussie pink floyd might musically be their equals.
rogers voice may have gotten distinctly worse, but his looks have got distinctly better.

10 minutes? its nothing, 1 song. but if it led to a tour, that'd be fantastic.

On my friends David Gilmour live concert you can hear someone shout out "PLAY SOMETHING FROM ANIMALS!" Gilmour responds "No, we'll be here all night."

Pink floyd aren't going to tour but I heard that they were going to get back together to play a show or two. I hope they do :)

If they only get 10 minutes, I'd like to see an extended version of Comfortably Numb, like the one on Pulse. I think WYWH is the most likely to be played though, that will still be awesome.

This will be a great moment for rock history. I hope it inspires other great bands to get back together for a few shows too :).

So, this show is going to be on television, right? I don't pay much attention to Geldof's Live Aid/8 concerts, but I sure hope it is.

I never ever thought I would get to see P.F. live.Because even it is not on American TV I will do everything in my power to snatch up video of it.
