Phunphone 01-17-2005 12:38 PM

I admit that lightbulb was a good invention.

And somebody unbanned me, this is nice.

talk show host 01-17-2005 01:11 PM

vallely2004 01-17-2005 01:15 PM
I finally got around to changing my lightbulb today.

No more candles for me!
haha, lazy git!

Something else to laugh about: I got my Mum into Mark Lanegan!!! She usually listens to 50cent and Jamelia style crap!

Phunphone 01-17-2005 01:23 PM
why were you banned?
Remember that link which created a lot of spam threads in the pit? Well, I accidentally clicked that, without reading the whole thread. Of course, it was too late. I guess they've banned everybody who made one of those threads...not sure.

I've got my dad into Incubus... he stole my cd one day; and said he liked it.

I have a nice dad... I stole all of his jazz cds, Genesis collection, suprisingly; The Smith's Rank, and 2 Cure cds

A Goonie 01-17-2005 02:22 PM

light is very nice to have

Zappa 01-17-2005 02:30 PM

I've officially decided I will have no part in the new review site. I dislike it strongly, and has removed every bit of desire I've had to write reviews.

Does the weather in Sweden suck or what!?

Good evening, and welcome to todays Sweboy rant. Today, we touch the issue of the sucky wheater in Sweboy's home country. Take it away, S.

So, now in the wintertime, we don't get snow anymore, we just get cold rain, because the temperature won't sink below zero degrees. It just fools around just above zero. And, it's really windy too. This equals a lot of nasty rain that you can't avoid. If you try to use an umbrella, the wind will just destroy it.
When I was a little child, I walked home from school in great winter weather with a lot of beatiful snow everywhere. Nowadays, I walk home with the pissy, cold rain in my face. Thank you western countries of the world for the greenhouse effect!

Zappa 01-17-2005 02:32 PM

Today in Michigan, it was about -5ºF.

BillCosby 01-17-2005 02:39 PM
Hello everyone  I hope everyone had a good weekend... i did cuz yesterday i went to a hives concert :D it was awesome :thumb:
House of Blues Anaheim?

Wanker 01-17-2005 02:40 PM

It's supposed to be -15 here tommorow with the wind.

Zappa 01-17-2005 02:42 PM

Our windchills have been about -20 to -30ºF

BillCosby 01-17-2005 02:42 PM

It is currently 79° in Anaheim.

sweboy 01-17-2005 02:47 PM

I don't understand what you're saying. Fight the system, drop Fahrenheit now!

BillCosby 01-17-2005 02:53 PM

Whew, I think it's time to change into shorts, I'm getting all sweaty just sitting here.

Zmev 01-17-2005 02:54 PM

bean and cheese burritos = awesome.

pixiesfanyo 01-17-2005 03:05 PM

Lucky you.

My hands are still frozen from pumping gas.

Phunphone 01-17-2005 04:51 PM

The new review site has nice ideas... but I dislike it... it has a really messy setup. They have to fix it.

Zappa 01-17-2005 04:54 PM

For me, it has effectively removed one of my favorite forums from the site. Makes me sort of rethink my membership here.

Bartender 01-17-2005 05:05 PM

I'm not quite at that stage, but I don't like it at all.

vallely2004 01-17-2005 05:08 PM

It's a good idea, but thats it. I dont see why the reviewed list had to be replaced with a whole website

Robert Crumb 01-17-2005 05:40 PM

Knowing that the review site is still in beta keeps my hopes up, it's well done from just a web site standpoint but I think it needs some work to make it more personable and give it the same community feel the forum had. I posted my first new review there, too. Half Japanese - Greatest Hits.

br3ad_man 01-17-2005 05:41 PM

I think we should just be able to post our reviews in both the old format and the new one. Sure, it might mean more work for the mods, but they can always add more mods to lighten the work load.

Zappa: where in Michigan do you live?

Zappa 01-17-2005 06:06 PM

Marquette.

BillCosby 01-17-2005 06:09 PM
oh yeah :thumb: where you there too?
No, I just live like a 10 minute walk away

BillCosby 01-17-2005 06:09 PM
Marquette.
I've been there. It's pretty.
