I'm pretty sure Dave didn't attack with the guitar, but Gar dropped the guitar on its neck and Dave tried to "gut him like a catfish". That was from the Behind The Music section on the [i]Rude Awakening[/i].

Gar dropped Dave's guitar because Dave had put it through the bass drum whilst pissed at Gar. dave then had to be locked in a room because he was going to kill Gar.

Funny story in my opinion. Dave rules.

Man, Dave was crazy, he had a lot of issues back in the day.

He was a major drug addict for a long time. He was smoking dope at the age of 15, and taking hard drugs by the time of KIMB. I think from SFSGSW until CTE he was a heroin addict.

I think he went through a little satanic period too, like when he wrote Good Mourning/Black Friday, and The Conjuring and stuff like that.

And he was suicidal for a long time too. Hence Skin O' My Teeth and A Tout Le Monde.
Wow Dave has been through a lot.

Dave got clean for the recording of Countdown if I'm correct but then got back into drugs for a short period of time.

Am I the only one who thought Risk was pretty cool? Certainly not the old Megadeth, but it was a nice little change.

Did you happen to catch TSHF? Kick *** album, not to mention everything post CTE was recorded while Dave was clean. Youthanasia has "awesome" written all over it.
