Oh, today I got offered (a friend offered for me to do it, then asked me about it later) a "gig", playing percussion for a school play next June. Seussical The Musical. I told her to tell them that I'd do it if no one else is available, but I'm nowhere near the quality of the past 2 drummers who have done percussion for the past 2 school plays.

She said they're paying, but I'd have to rehearse with them from February to June, 2 or 3 times a week. If nobody else wants it, I think I'll take that gig.

Drum Phil 09-07-2006 07:15 AM

Im so bored.

ofDooM 09-07-2006 10:25 AM

woohoo my beater swap makes double bass so much better for me.

man, if only could get some more time practicing, i could catch up with myself.

then, id enter an mx competition if i can get ahold of some mics.

im sooo anxious to go up against the advanced.

im in a good mood right now.

Steve irwin will always be in our hearts.

And the stingray will always be in his.

maniac0796 09-07-2006 11:10 AM

Sup Y'all! Today sucked. I missed the deadline for my RM and systems coursework, which means i'm gonna get f'd in the a next time a see my teacher. It sucks, because last year i had a differenent teacher, and she said that all we had to do was the questionaire, which some of you took part in. I come back and go in today, to find out that, me, and the rest of the class were meant to do 4 sheets of A3. So the whole class is boned.

Because of this, i had to stay in at lunch, so i got no food, or drink, and i still havm't done it. I decided there's no point rushing it to get a **** mark, where, seeming i'm already past the deadline, i can take my time and get a good grade on it.

My school suxors. They won't even let me have a beard...

Drum Phil 09-07-2006 12:24 PM

Yes jos. Its a garden :D Not a yard.

Josiah 09-07-2006 12:28 PM

Like a real garden? Or do you guys just call yards gardens?

EG - my neighbor has a garden in her yard.

Corkofski 09-07-2006 12:37 PM

i have a trampoline, a tree house, a pear tree, a plum tree, loads of rhubarb, and a shed

maniac0796 09-07-2006 01:20 PM

My garden has rhubarb and plum trees, a shed, grass, and lots of random stuff. There is also a palm tree...

trysthedrummer 09-07-2006 01:24 PM

We have 3. They're on a little bit of a slope.

maniac0796 09-07-2006 01:29 PM

Next door has like, 10 palm tree's. It's really annoying because the leaves will fall off when it's windy and for some reason, they always spread themselves onto our lawn, and when you get a palm leaf stuff in your lawnmower, everything goes wrong....

trysthedrummer 09-07-2006 01:37 PM

 I bet you've had alot of lawnmower repairs then

Win A Rabbit 09-07-2006 02:10 PM

My friends came today and woke me up at 10 so that I could go buy them fireworks. It actually kind of made me mad because they just assumed I wanted to wake up, and drive around for a couple hours so they could spend more money on fireworks.

We're taking a bunch to a party on saturday, though. I told them it's probably a bad idea since fireworks possibly = cops, and this party = much underage drinking. Oh well, it's not my house.

Janeway 09-07-2006 02:29 PM

=/

I fell asleep at school today. I had a 20 minute break between my spanish and US History class, so I went to sit down in the lobby. I decided to just rest my eyes a little, and next thing I knew it was two hours later.

maniac0796 09-07-2006 02:38 PM

I learnt about the battle of the little big horn today in history. We watched the flilm about it. Was well good, you saw em scalp their heads and stuff. Although it was only actors.

That general custer guy sounded like a giant douche though. All he wanted was his glory, and he got like, 250 men killed for it...

My internet is slow becausing i'm downloading windows vista, but i'm not sure if i can use it because i need a key or something, and i'm not part of the CPP or something. I'm gonna cancel, cos it's a waste of time...

Corkofski 09-07-2006 03:05 PM

cancel, it is a waste of time....

i dled it, and didnt get a key....

Janeway 09-07-2006 03:10 PM

Why would you download vista now?

So, the stupid genius bitch did Slaughterhouse Five for her optional book. I want to throttle her, because her log is going to be so much more thourough than mine, because she spent three months working on it, and I did it in a day.

And I'm not going to impress the teacher, who doesn't like me at all right now, even though I'm a good, quiet, respectful student. Fucking teachers.

maniac0796 09-07-2006 03:10 PM

If you are not registered but would like to receive Windows Vista RC1, the CPP will open to new participants in the coming weeks. Please check this site periodically for updates.

The reason i want vista is because it looks sexy, and i also want some of the desktop backgrounds.... I have one, take a look

But i want more. they are such awesome pictures!!!

stevensonmat2 09-07-2006 03:14 PM

I heard vista sucks.

maniac0796 09-07-2006 03:15 PM

It will when it first comes out. I just wanna see what it looks like personally. And see if it's features are any good. It can't be worse than XP with security though... XP was and still is a mess. You have to reinstall it like, every two months if you want your computer to run as fast as it can...

Remember kiddies and non computer folk, never buy something microsoft made until it's been out for a year.

Janeway 09-07-2006 03:20 PM

I like XP.

Compared to ME it's like heaven. I've only crashed maybe twice in the six or seven months I've had it.

Star Trek, or FFVIII. I hate being indesicive.

maniac0796 09-07-2006 03:24 PM

ME was a mess. The only good one was 95... that thing was solid as concrete. 98 was a mess, especially for networking. 2000 was alright. ME was a mess. XP home and media center are a joke, but XP pro is alright, and vista should be inbetween home and pro, a joke, but it'll work well

Corkofski 09-07-2006 03:54 PM

if anything would work with it (graphics), id still be running 95....

MatthewMeredith 09-07-2006 04:20 PM

Windows '98 was the best OS they ever put out.

Unfortunatly, it's no where near as pretty as XP :)
