I had to sit through a hockey game in Dallas. The Wings murdered the Stars, but there was a giant douche sitting next to me that would kill me if he knew I was from Michigan, so that kind of ruined my fun.

I found a sweet guitar shop here. I bought Behringer distortion bass petal for $30. I can't wait to get my *** back to Michigan and use it.

I used to play...which is surprising for how skinny I am. I'm not a huge fan, but the fights are pretty cool. I actually saw another scenester there. I didn't feel totally alone. I was afraid I was going to lynched.

It's new. It was a clearence thing, plus it was imported from China which makes it like $200 cheaper. That's how I'm getting my amp. I'm thinking a Fender Bassman 250. That should be good for a few years. Either that or I'll just buy another Rumble 100 and hook them both together. That would be good too.

Nice. I don't know much about basses, but how much do the pedals go for usually, because $200 seems pricey if you were being literal.

Fights are the only things that keep hockey at all interesting.

I was sporting my conducters cap, girl pants, and a cool striped sweater.

Really crappy bass petals that usually don't make a difference usually go for about $15. A decent one will have you spending from $75-300.

They are good for solos or blending in with a certain instrument.

My holidays are going pretty well. I'm shopping like a little bitch in Dallas and just went to the hockey game and watched my Wings murder Dallas.

Do you know much about bass? I'm deciding on a decent amp below $100.

I'm doing alright, thanks. I have to go get a "complete physical" tomorrow morning (which really sucks because I thought that it was just consultation to see if I need surgery, I didn't find out until dinner tonight). I have to fast before this physical for twelve hours (in the process of doing so now), and I'm praying to God, Allah, and any other deity that my balls don't get touched tomorrow.

I've been home from uni for more than a week, and haven't done jack besides go to work. All my friends axe my plans, which kinda sucks. And two of my closest girl friends are in a pretty brutal blow-up, and I'm pretty much at a loss in regards to what to do to that besides nothing.

Otherwise, life is good, I think. Thanks!

You guys should get involved with Sputnikmusic if you haven't already. I'm not here to stand on my soapbox and demand you go post there and everything, but it's always nice to see new faces there who like to contribute.

You don't have to post new reviews, if you don't want to. You can start by commenting or posting news (just read the guidelines for news submissions). It's always good to know that people read reviews by getting comments in them from your colleagues.

But again, you're under no obligation. If you've been there, do you like the site?

I use Sputnik music. The colors are spiffy.

I check out musicianfriend from time to time. I'll just take a gander at the reviews tomorrow. I think I'm gonna hit the hay soon. I'm pretty sick and if I don't get better, I might infect 90 innocent people on the plane on Friday with my T-virus.
