So, white. The weird thing is that when I try to trace the origin of my last name (now Wavrin, has changed from vavin, vavri, vavrin) all the variations are French. The name comes from my dad (obv, go patrilineal culture) who claims it's Czech.

my last name is a variation of an irish corruption of the german Klein
