Drum Phil 09-06-2006 11:57 AM

Children of bodom for me.

maniac0796 09-06-2006 12:00 PM
I do quite a lot of MXing whilst "at work" too.
Did you read that thing in the guardian about a week ago and it was a list of what a journilist did in a day. He spent about 30 mins doing work he was meant to, and spent the other 6 1/2 hours just using ebay and doing his council tax and stuff.

Was my first day of school today. It sucked. We have these new homework diary things, and their just a big pile of adverts. At the back is these coupons for cinema, but the closest place they work is plymouth, and thats like 100 miles away. And all through the homework diary their just shoveling **** down out throats like, "don't waste time being bored, revise!!" Year 11 sucks... Also, all the new year 7's are gippos aswell. They keep sitting on steps and i yelled about a group of 30 of them because it pisses me off when people sit on steps.

They also walled off the corridor so the library could be bigger, so now i have to walk round outside of the building to get to tutor or history.

Gah, Bah humbug!!!

I have too teachers for math? My school is MESSED up.

Drum Phil 09-06-2006 12:09 PM

My maths teacher back in school numbered the questions in our first lesson:

1
2
3
4
6

:-/

Pleaseme 09-06-2006 01:34 PM

I'm pretty scared to start my Product Design course in a month or so- I've seen the introductory work we have to do, and it's all maths, and I can't do ANY of it. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhh

Win A Rabbit 09-06-2006 02:00 PM

So I'm passing time until I feel like getting up and walking around town to apply for a job. I think I'll go in about half an hour. Plus my mp3 player is pretty dead, so I need to charge that before I walk around by my lonesome.

Janeway 09-06-2006 02:51 PM

My headphones came.

Eh. They kind of hurt my ears.

Plan B. 09-06-2006 03:07 PM

Guys, you know I only post in this thread for one reason, and that's:

My new MD came!!!

Wooo, Chris Adler! Don't listen to much LoG, but I know he's metal and I know he's ferice and I know he's got speed.

Pumped status.

Zildjian 09-06-2006 03:14 PM

ugggg first day of school was today...This year will be so easy (senor year) but Its still horrible

maniac0796 09-06-2006 03:15 PM

I was speaking to my bassist at school today, and we realised that there are **** all decent guitarist's in our area that would want to play with us. So we figured, how about we do drum&bass, but metal it up a bit? We can find anyone to play a few synth hits and keyboard notes.

Who thinks drum and bass metal style would be a good idea?

Sync0pation 09-06-2006 03:32 PM

Great idea, do it. My friends and I are thinking of making a LambofGod-esque rap style of music. Chris Adler-esque beats over satanic riffs with a black man rapping. Genious.

ofDooM 09-06-2006 03:36 PM

ceramics is boring right now.

bboooooorrrrrriiiiinnnnggggggggggggg..............nnnnngggggg...........ggggg.......

Sync0pation 09-06-2006 03:37 PM

Make a cymbal out of it.

Janeway 09-06-2006 03:38 PM

Woah.

These headphones are great now. =/

They're almost as good as my fathers Grado SR-80's, but $100 cheaper.

And portable.

It'd be like DFA 1979, but metal. I'd give it a listen.

Yay, both the liquor stores right near my house are hiring. Now I have to write up a resume.

Its been done, But VERY ****ty. They were more towards rap than metal. Do much better if you do go ahead with this Idea. Plz?

Sync0pation 09-06-2006 03:49 PM

Yeah we're not really that much into rap, but we're not against it at all either. One of our singers just left, and this other rapper (has an awesome LP) wants to start a project with us.

The other band you're talking about, do they have a myspace or anywhere I can listen to audio?

Win A Rabbit 09-06-2006 03:51 PM

Oh god, I don't know my last 2 supervisors' last names, or business addresses or phone numbers.

This blows. It might take a while.

Drum Phil 09-06-2006 03:59 PM

Ive never had to write a CV/Resume :-/

ofDooM 09-06-2006 04:00 PM

its sooooo borrriiinngggg!!!!

i was hoping we could work with clay, but were watching gay movies.

Drum Phil 09-06-2006 04:01 PM

WTF kinda school do you go to? School on how to be a ass bandit? :p

Win A Rabbit 09-06-2006 04:05 PM

I took ceramics in grade 8, and had no clue how to do it. At the end of the year, I just molded a big blob of clay into a big happy face, then put it in the oven with the rest of the final projects. I didn't know the things had to be hollow, or they would explode.

Basically, mine exploded right away, and stuck onto everyone else's, and got cooked onto theirs. I pretty much ruined everyone's final projects.

I ended up with a 9% in that class, I hated that teacher.

Drum Phil 09-06-2006 04:11 PM

Hmmm Lennys been thrown out of Trashlight Vision.

He was the only one of them i liked.

Janeway 09-06-2006 04:11 PM

Is it even possible to get a 9?

You get atleast a 20 if you sign your name on your papers and hand them in blank.

Berk 09-06-2006 04:13 PM

I dont know them off by heart, There an older band. I'll search some stuff..

_Wrathchild_ 09-06-2006 04:14 PM

I had my first day of school today and it already feels routine like I've been back forever. But my new physics/bio teacher is a family friend of mine whom I know personally and its kind of weird :S

My band teacher is starting up a school choir which begins tomorrow which is cool. The youth choir at my church that I used to sing in no longer exists so it will be nice to be in a choir again.

Drum Phil 09-06-2006 04:16 PM

HAHAHAH CHOIR GIRL.

Pespi, did you know wrathchild has a thing for you?

_Wrathchild_ 09-06-2006 04:20 PM

Meh, I like singing, big deal.

And we've gone over this several times already Phil, I'm not a lesbian.
