Eh, if I had a free ticket I'd go. My dad saw him awhile back and was very disappointed.
I've seen him twice, and the last time this summer was an amazing experiece You guys better catch him next time around, even if you do have to play 50$ Splatoutplath-What's the Dylan following like in Europe? I met one French fangirl, but besides that do people listen to him over there? EDIT: yahoo isn't letting me sign into my account, so I made a new one: aleafofallcolors6 @yahoo.com If y'all could send me stuff there and princesslolly006 @yahoo.com, i would be much abliged Also, could someone send the Donovan to aleafofallcolors? So i'm in a band now. We play oldies and classic rock. Its cool, I guess, except i'm the worst one in the band. Not saying i'm horrible, but the drummer routinely wins the talent show, our pianist is going to college for music, the bassist has been playing for about 8 years, and the singer is the one who always sings to national anthem at school functions. We have an organ player too, that i've never heard, but shes been playing for a long time too. I'm really intimidated. But it will be fun.
|
I'm on a Traffic binge right now. John Barleycorn Must Die is so great.

Well, you know what they say. Being around greatness only inspires you to work harder. That sounds like a really fun band. Nice of you to stop by, by the way. |
Did you get any other that I sent out?
Or any more?
All I have is this, and Dear Mr. Fantasy. |
Do any albums remind you guys of seasons?
Harvest really reminds me of fall, and thats not just the name of the album. |

You sound like our bassist... Blue Sky and I have been playing guitar for a "while" now (he's been for a couple years, I have for 1), and our drummer is just natrual. Our bassist is really a trumpeteer, but he can get a good riff occassionally |

WOOT! Edit: and I got the tab for Ry Cooder's last solo in the movie "The Crossroads". You know, the one where he hits the "29th fret" and Steve Vai couldn't do it so he gets pissed off and throws his guitar on the ground and walks away? Yeah. The arpeggio part in that is hard, but it's fun. |
Eugene's Trick Bag? Yeah, it's based off Paganini's 5th Caprice :P
Good song I guess, even though Vai wrote it. |
I have to come up with a good senior quote by Friday, any good suggestions?

Blind Faith- And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home. Good song. I'm good at these drug quotes. Completely random but the Knicks blow. Sorry, just had to get that game off my chest. Brutal, just brutal. |
I can't decide if I want a drug quote, a random psychedelic quote, or a deep philosophical quote.
For a second I thought you said "the Kinks blow". That statement would've resulted in your death. |
Don't eat the purple mushrooms if you don't like fabulousness.
Kind of awkwardly worded, though. |

"All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be." A little depressing for a year book, but it's a freakin' good quote. |
Dammit what song is that from? Is that Eclipse?
Anyway here's mine: "Right behind you I see the millions..." (heh, I just got TKAA again from the library, i love it to pieces) |
It's from Breathe. What's TKAA?
NP:John Lennon- Oh My Love |
It's from Breathe. What's TKAA?
NP:John Lennon- Oh My Love
the kids are alright. the who documentary. |
Ahhh gotcha. Ya I got that a little while ago too. I don't listen to it nearly enough.
|
Here's another quote!
"But you're all ****ing peasants as far as I can see." Gotta love Working Class Hero... |
Speaking of Working Class Hero, I just picked up that compilation today. It's about time I got some solo Lennon stuff after-all.
NP: John Lennon- You Are Here |
the kids are alright. the who documentary.
Anyone seen that documentary concerning the making of Who's Next, pretty interesting viewing. |
Oh, boy... what an adventure I had yesterday so I was up at my granpa's house and he had a gun... (It was only me home) so I stupidly decided to play with it (Its really tempting) and its one of those revolvers with that the cowboys always use so anyway I pull the little click button back (Stupidly) and can't figure how to get it down so I'm sitting in the garage with a loaded gun that is ready to fire and I think "Hey how about I just touch the trigger!" well I did... and it fired. I didn't see where the bullet went but the barrel of the gun was freaking hot afterwards, now I'm scared my G-pa will notice and flip out, I couldn't hear for like 4 hours but luckly no one else heard me. So the moral is don't play with loaded guns. Oh, and that whole side of my family are hicks. /barf
I didn't know their were other Knicks fan's in here! I only watch NBA when the Knicks are doing good or decent. If they suck (last 2-3 years) I don't watch NBA at all. |
"All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be."
A little depressing for a year book, but it's a freakin' good quote.
And that would be very good, at least I think, or quote the entie eclipse (A) Or, ''All you need is love'' simple and still the truth ;) |
Do any albums remind you guys of seasons?
Harvest really reminds me of fall, and thats not just the name of the album.
Led Zeppelin IV reminds me of winter |
Led Zeppelin IV reminds me of winter
It's always reminded me of Fall. Fleetwood Mac - Rumours reminds me of Summer. |
Most Led Zeppelin reminds me of Christmas because that was when I started listening to the Early Days cd and got the Led Zeppelin dvd.
|
Led Zeppelin IV reminds me of winter
It reminds me of splinters in my foot.
