Pull me under, pull me under, pull me under, I'm not afraid !

superpeer 03-23-2005 03:01 PM

Yeah, Dream Theater bores me....and yeah my friend is a **** good piano player...he's asian and has pushy parents and he's been playing his whole life (16 years)

EDIT: To those PC people, I'm not racist, it's just I've noticed Asian parents are harder on their kids

superpeer 03-23-2005 03:15 PM

Flight of the bumblebee is so cool, I wish I could play it on Piano.

NP: Death - A Moment of Clarity

munky_magik 03-23-2005 03:16 PM

My friend can play it on the Xylophone. Or possibly the Marimba. I forget which.

Rasta Rocker 03-23-2005 03:17 PM

I want to learn flight of the bumble bee on bass, except I'll definitely need my teacher to help me with that one

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 03:17 PM

Whoever can fart "Flight of The Bumblebee" gets a handshake.

RiceMonster 03-23-2005 03:19 PM

Dream Theater doesn't bore me. I quite like the music, altough some songs are excesivley long.

Jom 03-23-2005 03:19 PM

The storm clouds move in overhead, drowning out the light of day. Blinded in the darkness, soul torn apart by the falling rain. Cold and alone, trembling with fear and shame. Arms stretched to the sky as blood drips from my eyes, I wait for a break in the clouds. Withered from the absence of glory, fruitless from the absence of light. Barren from self-reliance, empty but not without hope. I still remember the glory of the light; I know the power of the sun. Amidst the despair, hope will prevail, as calm follows every storm. Hungry for renewal, longing for the warmth that awaits, I wait for a break in the clouds.

I love this song :)

superpeer 03-23-2005 03:27 PM

Dream Theater's vocalist sucks a lot.

NP : Dillinger Escape Plan - Pig Latin

LordDargon 03-23-2005 03:28 PM

Damn, my joke fooled nobody.

ATTN: AntiHero.

Go argue with me in that God Forbid thread. Unless you are willing to concede defeat.

although a few of the longer songs have enough variation to not drag on.
the vocalist (can't think of name right now) isnt the best, but he could do much worse

There's nothing worth arguing about in that particular thread.

superpeer 03-23-2005 03:46 PM

It's funny how some Opeth songs are longer than this entire Circle Jerks album.

Your stay in the "Anti-Death to Poseurs" thing was short-lived.

When and how did you determine your brethrenship with RCA?

Ramsey 03-23-2005 03:55 PM
I'm loving Seymour Duncans right now...

because we both posted the exact same thing at the same time and I didn't see the point in the ADTP anymore.

Cain 03-23-2005 04:11 PM

Hey, AH, you still here?

Sorry, I had to go and send my guitar to the shop. I was gone for a bit, but now I'm real excited. You still got that file to send?

Are your e-mails really case sensitive?
