Melbourne seems kind of tight
But only for the graffiti |
Yeah I've never been to Melbourne but I've heard/seen via the internet its graff scene is amazing.
|
The only thing Australia has going for it is Foster's beer.

Foster's beer commercials once convinced me that there was an Australian language. |

Melbourne is actually the street art capital of the world And I think since I have nothing else to do today, I'm gonna sketch some new stuff and head out later tonight |
Fosters beer, are you kidding me?
Carlton Draught > VB > Fosters. And as for the graff and art side of Melbourne, we have a thread happening here on brokenglassonline.com. You have to join to see it, but it's worth it. Some of the graff and art in this thread is amazing. http://www.brokenglassonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2778 |
VB tastes like piss.
Also, Brisbane graffiti is semi-worthwhile looking at. |
It tastes better than Fosters, IMO.
|
I like VB.

I don't think I've ever met anyone who drinks Fosters in my life, loyally anyway.
I have never heard of Melbourne being referred to as street art capital, but it makes sense I guess, it's at least the most cultural city in oz. |

STEEL RESERVE and die
That's usually how it turns out after a night of drinking that shit. |
just saw Terror and Suicidal Tendencies live.
Terror was good, but ST was just insanely awesome |
I saw Bane, MLIW, The Geeks and Ambitions last night. The Geeks played the best set all night, MLIW played a shitty one but we talked with the singer afterwards and he was really cool. Bane's set began with the singer saying two words, and then the audience rushed the stage and the stage was filled with people for the next minute or so chanting the rest of the song or something.
|
How was Ambitions? My friend Nick almost shit a brick when he heard they were touring, he was then pissed they weren't coming here.
|
Ambitions was really good, but I can't remember them playing the song Question which I was sort of waiting for. They had to follow the Geeks too, if you see the Geeks live sometime you'll understand.
Daaayum last night was awesome.
Make Move - Good show, liked how they threw some raps in there. Our Turn - AWESOME, got a t-shirt. Lights Out - AWESOME The Warriors - I've never really seen the big deal with the Warriors, but they put on an amazing show. 1000 times heavier live than on cd. For their last song they covered 'Bulls On Parade" and I almost pooped my pants. Iron Age - Never heard them before but they were really good. R'N'R - Pretty good, kinda boring. Righteous Jams - Set of the night, sooo much energy and stagediving. They opened with "Invasion" going into "Scream And Shout" and ended with "Invasion" going into "Scream And Shout". Mental - What more can I say? It's Mental, they were awesome. Stiggy's War - Didn't get to stay for them, but I heard they were good.
I was going through stuff, and came across this legendary show. Pat is a lucky man. also, in the post before this, shane said he would bang the vocalist from walls of jericho. you sick italian wop bastard. seriously, its so hilarious going through all that **** from like 2 years ago. remember when shane was straightedge!?!? and yes this entire board did jock cbk, no matter how many times reiner says otherwise. |
