From Enslavement to Obliteration and The Code is Red are their best album imo. Scum is good, it's a classic blah blah blah....but it's not their best.
Scum's effectively two EPs by virtually completely different line-ups. Second half is better overall but a bit short and the first half has some pretty cool tracks, e.g. Instinct To Survive, Control, t/t and Siege of Power. Unlike FETO, however, because of the stylistic split midway it doesn't get really get samey.

hismajestythepope 12-05-2008 11:19 AM

i dont understand how bands can just keep a name after kicking out more than 50% of their original line-up... like, id much rather that there was no band called through the eyes of the dead or paraphilia (this ones a bit more personal ) than poopty-rehashes by the single original member that wont let it go.

also, kid from slsk screamo room's grind band:

shits badass as hell

EINSIEG 12-05-2008 12:05 PM

Is that suppose to be grind?

hismajestythepope 12-05-2008 12:08 PM

Angmar 12-05-2008 12:09 PM

EINSIEG is back.

EINSIEG 12-05-2008 12:11 PM
Is that suppose to be grind?
****ing idiot.

Eating Machine is good, I really liked all of those songs.

EINSIEG 12-05-2008 07:42 PM

Grind is a cross between death metal and hardcore, I don't understand where all these emo bands come thinking if they speed up their music it makes them grind all of the sudden.

Takes a lot more to be grind than being fast, kid.

idiot 12-05-2008 07:55 PM
Grind is a cross between death metal and hardcore
lol

EINSIEG 12-05-2008 08:02 PM

It is...

masscows 12-05-2008 08:05 PM

death metal and grind influenced each other as they both grew but grind is more an extreme extension of crust/crossover than an extension of death metal i think

EINSIEG 12-05-2008 08:06 PM

Well I still think it's ridiculous how these screamo bands speed up their music and they're grind all of the sudden.

RetiredAt21 12-05-2008 08:10 PM

Shut up.

EINSIEG 12-05-2008 08:10 PM

Please explain to me how I am wrong! I WANT TO KNOW!

Angmar 12-05-2008 09:56 PM

Death to false grind!

RetiredAt21 12-05-2008 10:31 PM
Please explain to me how I am wrong! I WANT TO KNOW!
The grind sound isn't just confined to sounding like Napalm Death, Terrorizer, and Repulsion. Poser Disposer sounds nothing like those bands but they are still grind. You don't know your **** as well as you think you do, dude.

Angmar 12-05-2008 11:31 PM

Even though he's obviously retarded the old school death/grind style is still my favorite.

FatalEnergy 12-06-2008 01:07 AM
Even though he's obviously retarded the old school death/grind style is still my favorite.
I never really got into any grind beyond that.

Insect Warfare kills though.

respect emoviolence or **** off seriously

publicastration 12-06-2008 01:37 AM

why can't they just stick with calling themselves emo or screamo (which is what they are)

hismajestythepope 12-06-2008 01:40 AM

**** off ethan, ruining a good troll :c

RetiredAt21 12-06-2008 01:56 AM

Emoviolence is legit, In/Humanity says so.

No it's not, deathcore is barely death metal or hardcore at all, stuff like Napalm Death has clear death metal influence as well as having the hardcore speed and aggression seen by these early bands like Siege. Learn your stuff without just regurgitating what your latest core magazine is telling you.

hismajestythepope 12-06-2008 11:19 AM

what are you even talking about kiddo? "without just regurgitating what your latest core magazine is telling you."

youve probably never even heard 95% of the music i like, but oooookaaaaay youre really cool because you use the term "core" in a negative connotation !!

first minute = slam death, second minute = tuffguy hardcore

ID CALL THIS A MIX OF DEATH METAL AND HARDCORE

retard

idiot 12-06-2008 11:21 AM

einseig namedropped siege bro i think he knows what hes talking about

hismajestythepope 12-06-2008 11:22 AM
