Finally bought my ticket for this upcoming tour. So stoked, now I just need to become more familiar with this release.

I was planning on making the 3 hour drive up to Toronto to see their hometown show, but it apparently sold out within a few days, along with the rest of Canada

Toronto isn't their hometown. Go see them in Oshawa, I have a hard time that one's sold out.

Everything on this album lyrically is coming together. This song, which I dub thee "Cancer Song"..was hard to get into lyrically at first but listening to Scurrilous pretty much on repeat since it leaked everything seems so perfect. Lyrics, imo, are quite strong and this song is obviously coming from Rody's heart and that is something we hadn't been able to see through the poetic lyrics in the past two albums

Yeah coke said it. You've probably heard them on the radio before though.

The lyrics on Tandem irk me a little but it's definitely got some classic PTH bits. I'd probably say it's my 6th or 7th favorite on the album.

Anyone else think that either Hair-Trigger or Dunsel would have been a better album closer than Sex Tapes?

I see it has been brought up but yah just coming in to say that the first ten seconds or so in Tandem sound like Make Yourself-era Incubus on tech metal steroids.

Album is kind of a grower but it's getting there. First half is the strongest I think, although Sex Tapes is definitely in the top 3 songs.

That's interesting that I'm not the only one who thought that about Tandem.

I think Sex Tapes is perfect as the closer. I really like the outro riff too, it's a lot simpler than everything else on the album but it's effective.

And the top three songs will probably always be Hair-Trigger, Moonlight, and Dunsel for me. Sex Tapes would make the top five though along with probably Tongue-Splitter.

It's like 45 minutes outside of Toronto, and I don't think anyone considers them to be the same at all. Totally different. Whitby's a total suburb and Oshawa's a real (dead) industry town.

This was way too hard to listen all the way through the first time. After a couple listens tho, this slays fortress (was sorta disappointed with that one) and may match Kezia. Termites is pretty awesomee.

A friend of mine had Scurrilous on in his car the other day. It sounds like quite an amazing album. It has it's own sound apart from Kezia and Fortress, but it still keeps true to their overall sound.

Definitely gonna support them and buy it when it comes out on the 22nd!

Album sounds, really good from what ive heard thus far. Definitely need some more time with it though.

new album has been the quickest 5/5 i have given in a long time. had to delete from my itunes so it can still be fresh when i buy it
