Thats what I told all the cry babys on carousel182.com (blink forum) and they wouldnt have a bar of it, saying they think they could have progressed more. I dont think so.
I dont know. I think blink could have progressed further but not a great deal. get rid of all the travis techno experimento, and keep the rest. |
I don't know what else they could really do. They've done really punky, poppy and mature albums. God I'd kill them if they did a Transplants-style album.

They could have done, but they stopped while they were ahead. They couldn't accomplish anmore as a band apart from go their separate ways. |

skate punk will come back, in the next two years, because emo is gay. I know about 20 people who are all starting to listen to old school lagwago and blink and stuff again. :thumb: |
That's pretty cool. But would another wave of it be any good? I mean, it's all been done before.

Yeah it has, but, the thing is so has hardcore, metal, grunge etc, but it always finds its way back. Old school skate punk was rad. I eremember when i was in year 7, which was in 1997, if you skated you listened to pop-punk. I wish that connection still existed. The problem these days is that to many bands try to copy blink in their enema era, and they all just sound the same, and really gay. Emo, is already practically dead. |

Long Live Emo! Your right actually...I remember in grade 6 that everyone who skated listened to pop-punk, and everyone who listened to pop-punk skated. Anyways I'm off to school..Later all. |

Blink one eight two.
At a gig in England once, Mark introduced them as "Blink one eighty two", and Tom said "Over here, Mark they call us Blink one eight two" So I guess its British to call them Blink one eight two :p |
It's One Eighty Two, Jesus.
Yeah, I think good old skate-punk will actually be coming back pretty soon, like within the next 5-10 years. Hopefully I can be a part of that. :amaze: |
Mark said he likes it over here because we call them 1-8-2 and its different and they like it, its a change to 1-82

Yeah..It doesn't really matter all that much though, they're still Blink. :p :) |
I say one eight two because I'm Australian. One eighty two is too long for lazy people like us.

One Eighty Two is faster and more effecient. It flows much faster than One-Eight-Two which requires three distinct pauses. Stop making more work for yourselves! /Owned. |

I have a only a vague idea of what you just said... Ok, how about the number 80, you do say "Eighty" right, and not "Eight-Zero"? |
