Hey guys, a few hours ago at like 7pm my neighbour came round and complained because I was playing drums.....for like 5 minutes! My dad told him to get lost! Its 7pm for christ sake....plus its New Years eve, people are gonna be letting off fireworks and throwing parties, shouting/singing drunk in the street till the early hours. But he complained about the TV being too loud and me playing drums while his 4 year old kid tried to sleep (good luck to the kid on New Years eve!) So because my dad didn't take any notice of the guy, he's "going to take it further." I'm gonna phone up the council first and see what they say is a reasonable time to play hehe

Oh well, this is a good opportunity to finally get in some practice with brushes :D

they aren't bad at all, especially for the price
however, I decided against them because of the mounting system, it prevents you from bringing your toms very close together, unless you buy separate mounts to mount them off of a cymbal stand or something of the like.

Hi there, I'm Kurtis C. I hail from Coq. B.C, Canada; If you have to ask where that is, you don't know (think 2010 olympics Vancouver, just not the same place). I enjoy theatre work (acting/directing), drumming and consoling. I have played drums now for about 8 months, can't say I'm great but I'm getting there. I am 5' exactly which explains why my kit is so low lmao. One out of the 8 months I have been playing in a band called A Vision of Sunny Days in Acid Rain, hence the name.
