It will, with the fructose corn syrup. They only use it in food in America (maybe other places) because Mexican coke has real sugar. Fructose is much more complex than simple sugar. Its alot harder for your body to burn so it is stored as fat. Thats why Americans are considered fat and lazy by the rest of the world, but it's really the corporations that want to save money. Its a bunch of bulls'hit, and by the way Mexican coke is aton better.

I know all of that since I'm a biology nerd. And I've never had it but European Coke has probably the same ingredients as Mexican. I'm sure you know but having more sugar isn't as bad as having complex sugars (fructose, sucrose, etc.).

Anyone try the new Coke Zero? It's quite good. Has zero calories and less sugar, but tastes closer to regular coke than Diet. Sort of like Pepsi One, except not tasting like s'hit like Pepsi.
