trysthedrummer 09-21-2006 02:54 PM

What you trying to prove, that the sun is hot?

jpshortstuff 09-21-2006 02:54 PM

indeed i am (rep++ in it for me apparently)

GurS 09-21-2006 02:58 PM

Indeed there is.

NP: The Beatles - Hold Me Tight.

Is With The Beatles the joint best Beatles album with Abbey Road?

Yes.

camelfarmer 09-21-2006 02:58 PM

I googled it a few times also. Apparently no one actually has made a page just saying 'this is why and this is how we know that the sun is hot'.

trysthedrummer 09-21-2006 02:59 PM

Ah k.

First define what is heat?

It's that hot feeling you get. :)

It feels hot in the sun.

Prooved?

PAJJ 09-21-2006 03:00 PM

does this not say?

jpshortstuff 09-21-2006 03:05 PM

camelfarmer you are indeed rite (rep message) but alas Gur is a difficult one to please (Science wise, i dont want to please him in other ways...).
would rep you as 'believing sun is hot buddies' but i've used my rep allowance for today.

Heat is better defined as the internal energy inherent in a system.

I'll rep you if you tell me what your favourite set of lyrics by Leonard Cohen are. And why :)

(P.S. Joan of Arc's his best. Well, actually, the best lyrics ever written. So just read it and relate it's awesomeness, and you get rep :))

camelfarmer 09-21-2006 03:08 PM

But rep doesn't count for anything anymore dude. And it's 130am here.

Coz I disagree.

And the fact that it's 1 30 is your fault for not moving to the UK yet :p

You're going to Birmingham, right? I got LOADS of friends/aquaintances/people from my school going there.

WHO'S LEONARD COHEN!?!?!?!?!

If Ollie was about, we'd tag-team piledriver you straight through a table. As it stands, he's the greatest lyricist ever, and not enough people listen to his stuff. I can pretty much gurantee you've heard one of his songs, though - Hallelujah, as covered by John Cale, Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright et all

EDIT: ninja edit. bad grammer, y'see.

camelfarmer 09-21-2006 03:21 PM

Man, the Daily Mail's gonna love you :|

Ultimately a 3 person band; really a 4 person band, but we never held onto our singers long. So the 'band' was the three of us, + whoever happened to be singing at the time.

ChodaBoy 09-21-2006 03:25 PM

Well, I'll let it slide this time. But try and find the first Leonard Cohen album. It'll blow you away.
