Dead Star 09-21-2006 01:26 PM
I still say the sweater song's Weezer's best work, though, to my shame, the only Weezer album I own is Green :(
They went downhill after Green :(

New album is kinda sucky.

not without several fish, a lamp post and a large novelty cheque...

3 hours in my maths room next to the window gives me all the proof i need.

So I've heard. Ah well. Most bands around today who have more than, say, 4 albums, have already passed their peak.

I ordered one of these http://www.nusextra.com/

For £10.

camelfarmer 09-21-2006 01:34 PM

GurS 09-21-2006 01:47 PM

/speaks the truth

One thing I never knew - Eric Clapton co-wrote most of Ronnie Lane's last album. Interesting stuff.

*FACT* - my dad was a roadie on Ronnie Lane's very infamous "passing show" tour.

2muchket! 09-21-2006 01:48 PM

O Rly ?

jpshortstuff 09-21-2006 01:49 PM

apparently Eric Claptons real name is Eric Clap.

/dont hurt me if this is common knowledge

ChodaBoy 09-21-2006 01:50 PM

Gur dont lie to his homies
apparently Eric Claptons real name is Eric Clap.

An urban legend, but not actually true :)

The myth is meant to be Clapp, not Clap.
Although many sources give his surname at birth as Clapp, this is incorrect. Though his grandmother's second husband's name was Clapp, his mother's name was Clapton; his grandparents never legally adopted him.
"You Have Given Out Too Much Rep In The Last 24 Hours"

trysthedrummer 09-21-2006 02:01 PM
Did you use it to get a discount on it?
Yeah, but I hardly really use it tbh. If your paying about 10 quid for one, unless you spend quite a bit and go out to cinema and whatnot, then yeah might as well. But that way, if you don't, you aren't really going to get your tenner back, if you know what I mean.

There's like 10% off at topman or something.
