Guys, I'm considering buying an mp3 vinyl player.
What do you think about them?

I always stayed away from vinyl because I couldn't digitalize it, but since they came up with these usb ones, I've been reconsidering.

I think that would be cool. I would like to be able to buy and play vinyl, they're so much more a piece of art than a CD.

I usually only buy vinyl, but its mainly for the collectability (sp?)

Some albums sound better on a record player though.

I waited with my order because the first bunch had some mistakes with the inlay.

digital vinyl players are really only good if you are planning on burning your records.

if you don't have any records, i'd say just get a regular one.

my parents bought my record player so i didn't have a choice in the matter!

i suppose i will use it if i buy some rare out of print vinyl, but that probably won't happen anytime soon

I finally got my new TV today. It was definitely worth the wait.

Cool.
I only have 2 vinyls (One Alice Cooper and one ELP).
But I see a lot of cool offers that are only available on vinyl.
I never really bothered with it.
Because then I would only be able to listen to it on the record player.
But USB opens a whole new world.
So I'm really considering this.
I don't have any tapes, but it's a nice feature still. :)

Sleeping too much if you've been deprived of sleep for a time also sucks, like Brian stated.
