I JUGGLE.

AG 07-24-2010 06:13 PM

Pretty basic juggling dude.

I could never sequence outside throws, only do singles.

GuitarBizarre 07-24-2010 06:17 PM

Well yeah, its not like I was claiming to be Kris Kremo, the description says I only learned cascade last week...

jaklyons 07-26-2010 12:02 PM

Just went to the fridge and there was only one beer left. :upset:

jaklyons 07-26-2010 01:26 PM

Yeah, it was a pretty lame interview.

I also, they just happened to be the two fastest people on the board? Fuck off were they, I bet that was fudged.

Blue_Moon 07-26-2010 05:22 PM

cameron diaz did drive half decent, she was actually ok but tom ended up off the track and on 2 wheels ffs

Sad But True 07-27-2010 05:18 AM

Lod, about 6 weeks ago I fractured 2 knuckles on my ring finger, and about 2 weeks ago I stopped wearing the little cast thing and all was well. I'm doing some work at my dad's factory now and it's much more manual than I was doing before, and my finger is swollen and painful again, but I've got about 95% movement in it. Is it still broken or is it just muscle damage or whatever?

Thanks Dr. Lod.

Aes820 07-27-2010 05:28 AM

How did you damage it?
If it copped a decent whack then you may have done some tendon/pulley or tissue damage that will take a lot longer to heal up.

But on the other hand. It could just be due to weakness having not used it for so long.

Because the actual fracture heals up after 6 weeks. All the other bits of gristle in there will take longer.

Sad But True 07-27-2010 05:38 AM

I, uh...fell on it playing rounders.

<_<

Anyway, do you reckon it's alright to keep working with it? Because it doesn't hurt as much when I come back from work and rest it for a bit. I just don't want to do any further damage because I have a tour in like, 3 weeks.

Squirrel 07-27-2010 05:41 AM

Most likely broken again, the pain going away doesn't really mean it's tissue damage cause broken bones settle down when you rest them and stop them moving (other than horrific ones obviously).

We have free health care in this country, go use it and get an x-ray.

Sad But True 07-27-2010 05:46 AM

Gah, that would suck. Cheers for the replies fellas, I'll go get it checked at the weekend.

Squirrel 07-27-2010 06:01 AM

I've broken fingers and toes and shi, they bruise up and feel pretty bad but they settle down and feel ok - it was only when I got them x-rayed when I saw how bad the breaks were.

why not.
cameron diaz did drive half decent, she was actually ok but tom ended up off the track and on 2 wheels ffs
Exactly. If anyone else had done that exact lap, I bet they'd be nowhere near the top.

I hate Tom Cruise even more now.

purple_hazer 07-27-2010 12:20 PM

is there any good way to export guitarpro files as wav files that arent silent?

would exporting as just straight midi work?

EmbraceRandom 07-27-2010 12:36 PM

yeah, you can listen to it in quicktime, it's not great though (unreliable)

The_Mop 07-28-2010 03:48 PM

Can listen to them in any media player tbh, just as long as your sound settings in the control panel are set to the right MIDI playback. Job's a good 'un :)

Hello Lod. I've now been awake and working for 30 hours straight. I started work yesterday morning at 8, finished at 12, drove around the city picking people/equipment up, then i drove the Bradford uni where we unpacked a whole band's worth and more of equipment and then made a music video for my side project band, from about 7:30 till 4:30am this morning we were shooting then we packed up and I eventually got home this morning at 8:40am and went straight to work again. I've had about 8 cups of tea and over 5 litres of some Sainsbury's Red Bull knockoff, and now can't get to sleep. Shall I try to sleep or see how long I can go for?

jaklyons 07-29-2010 06:38 AM

I think you should go for some kind of world record.

"Longest time someone has remained awake without going insane" or something.

try and make it 'til 9-10pm. you don't wanna wake up in the middle of the night shivering and nauseous. If you can't get to sleep then, try exercising or something.

Blue_Moon 07-29-2010 09:09 AM

i done 34 one time...

its awful by the end

jaklyons 07-29-2010 11:09 AM

My record is, I think, about 40 hours. Eventually, you get beyond tired and it's not so bad any more - well, that's how it was for me anyway. Though maybe that's because I was guzzling Lucozade and Powerade all day to try to stay awake.

EmbraceRandom 07-29-2010 11:18 AM

Definitely stay awake. In fact I challenge you to make a post in every first-page thread on the whole of mx.

An educated, informative post of course.

Sad But True 07-29-2010 01:42 PM

No. I made 33 hours 50 minutes, the drifted off for about 10 minutes while listening to some music (not even sure how I ended up on a bed I was downstairs) and now I'm wide awake again. I was guzzling Red Bull on the m60/m62/m6 because I was really scared at one point about crashing because of tiredness. I had a couple of moments where I just seemed to zone out and lose concentration; 3 hours on motorways while everyone else is asleep gets boring.

seriously man, try a circuit or something. exhaust yourself. twenty minutes of squats, burpees and press ups.

Sad But True 07-29-2010 01:53 PM

I'm going to do some weights and a few sit ups/press ups then have a bath and an early night. Proper.

Squirrel 07-29-2010 02:10 PM

wait what pressups and situps after you lift what

and situps lol

Sad But True 07-29-2010 02:17 PM

I dunno, just doing anything to tire me out that doesnt involve me going outside, it's not like im making an exercise plan or anything, sheesh.

Squirrel 07-29-2010 02:21 PM

just seems retarded thats all

and doing exercise 2 hours or less before bed isnt a great idea for gettign sleep given that it boosts your metabolism

Sad But True 07-29-2010 02:29 PM

oh right, well bath it is then.

Squirrel 07-29-2010 02:30 PM

i used to do it a lot and i found it hard to get good sleep

easy to drop off but it affects how good your lseep is or some shi

benfan 07-29-2010 02:56 PM
oh right, well bath it is then.
