What I hate about some people here is that they believe that they HAVE to vote for the guy that's representing the party they're affilliated with. Like my grandfather, he just votes democratic without even considering the other candidate's platform.
It happens equally as much in both parties.

My AP exams are now over, which means that the rest of my school year is basically a breeze/waste of time.

Yeah, I know. I didn't say that only democrats did that; I was just using an example.

Hurrah, if I couldn't download at 2.2 Mb/s that would have taken longer but I already have it, much thanks. :) I'll listen once the roommate decides to leave so I can actually listen
Yeah, it ended up being about 50MB, I think. I'm not really expecting people to listen and be blown away as greatly as I was (I didn't have particularly high hopes for feedback at all, actually :)), but I 've just been enjoying them so much recently, and I wanted to share the love, as it were.

This election was the first one my dad voted democratically in. I wish more people had been like him :(

Junior year I still had projects to do after APs, it was no good. I still have finals on Monday and Tuesday :(

I have a minor project for history, but except for Precalc are my classes are either easy now or always were easy.

Goof afternoon, guys?

I just woke up

I went to the part in Virginia, and then we decided that we just wanted to leave when it was time to sleep. So we left at 6am and got home at 7am.

I'm beat.

CemetaryGates9 05-06-2005 02:10 PM

Today was everything I could want in a day. It was quick. A quick day is a good day.

It was quick? Must be a different time zone. In Ohio, I think time moved at 1/4 of the normal speed today. Maybe its because its Friday?

CemetaryGates9 05-06-2005 02:16 PM

I live a day at a time, and each day my goal is for that day to end.

Dancin' Man 05-06-2005 02:34 PM

Today went by fairly quickly for me. I had a great time after school chatting with a few friends for about an hour then a beautiful drive home with the windows down and the radio loud. I love fast country roads. I just wish I had something else to do today but I suppose I'll write another review later and then play guitar for a few hours. My guitar will be shipped Wednesday :thumb: .

I have SATs tomorrow. I wish my handwriting were better. I'm afraid they won't be able to read my essay. Fortunately, I do well on these types of tests, math sections especially (despite my consistently poor math grades)

Dam i got community service today for cutting class 3 times in a row, and logging onto my teachers grade book and trying to change my grades. This blows.

You dumbass. Easy solution - don't get caught and learn to forge a parents signature.

Just write slower, they give you enough time. The new essays make me feel like I'm retarded. The questions are like "Give examples of times you've had to face challenges."

The only thing I'm worried about the SAT is how long it is now.

Dancin' Man 05-06-2005 03:15 PM

Only have 25 minutes to write an essay. I'm a good writer generally but my handwriting is terrible and they wouldn't let me do that section at an electronic testing site. Oh well.

CemetaryGates9 05-06-2005 03:16 PM

I'm gonna eat again, cause I didn't eat breakfast or lunch.

Do you ever contribute to a conversation here or do you just post random things that no one cares about?

CemetaryGates9 05-06-2005 03:19 PM

I'm gonna say B.

essays are crap the examinations must be so different in the US

the questions do sound retarded

Dancin' Man 05-06-2005 03:36 PM

Well the essay section of the SAT is not so much to answer a question as it is to show that you can form complete thoughts through writing to express yourself and to show you ability to write with proper spelling and grammar. That's why it's such an open ended question.

Lord Abortion 05-06-2005 03:44 PM

ah, we have a similar thing over here, like general studies.

but on curent affairs and contentious issues, pollution, are computers destroying children's minds etc.

Kinda funny but also kinda backwards. I feel this way about Windows but not Macs. Aside from the turning it off business.

Is that the hot girl you were talking about before?

Anyone going to see that new LOTR-style movie tonight?

Dancin' Man 05-06-2005 05:08 PM

Yes.

I'm not. What is it?

I want to see Hitchhikers Guide stoned. I thikn instead though my friends and I will watch a season of South Park stoned. It will be the funniest few hours of my life.

Bartender 05-06-2005 05:10 PM

Have you seen the Guide yet, sober?

And I think he's talking about Kingdom of Heaven.

Dancin' Man 05-06-2005 05:16 PM

No, I have not. Should I? I thought the book was mediocre but it just seems like the type of thing that should be seen while intoxicated.

Is that the one with Orlando Bloom wielding a sword?

I really didn't think it was that great a book. It was miles ahead of the sequels though. Those just sucked.

Anyway, check this thread. There are some seriously large fish there.

Look at the size of this bastard.

http://members.chello.nl/tmarapengopie/Spain148ronn.jpg

Arucard 05-06-2005 05:25 PM

I hate fish, especially ones with big jaws. I also hate the water.

Bartender 05-06-2005 05:27 PM

Why?

Arucard 05-06-2005 05:30 PM

Dunno, i guess im just scared of drowning, or losing a limb due to it being bitten of by a large hungry fish.

Bartender 05-06-2005 05:32 PM

Fair enough. I've always kind of liked the water (hence my ocean thread a while ago, I suppose). I don't see how having a healthy awareness of the bastard hugeness/viciousness of some fish precludes liking the water.

ATM 05-06-2005 05:39 PM

Yea, Kingdom of Heaven is the one I mean. I couldn't remember the title. It looks pretty cool.

I am too lazy to go out, because I was up until 7am last night.
