Iron Bars 01-23-2008 02:35 AM

Born to late is thé doom anthem.

Jondur 01-23-2008 03:22 AM

There's a version of Look Behind You with Scott Reagers on Vox. It kills.

pate 01-23-2008 07:49 AM

Dying Inside is becoming my favorite track on BTL, not counting the title track.

Iron Bars 01-23-2008 09:19 AM

My favorite is The War Starter.

gmoneyguy 01-23-2008 09:47 AM

I must ask, are you a reagers or wino person?

AlienEater 01-23-2008 10:05 AM

I prefer Wino

V is awesome. I also like that live album that no one has mentioned, whatever it's called.

pate 01-23-2008 11:05 AM
I must ask, are you a reagers or wino person?
Reagers. I love Wino in The Obsessed but Reagers with Vitus just works better. And my favourite album is Die Healing but then I'm just a contrary ****

Pate: Are you waiting for some DVD or something?

pate 01-24-2008 07:31 AM

Yes, I ordered the Vitus reunion DVD the other day.

You and my friend would get along just fine, based on that.

I myself am I wino man.

Hmm...I may have to pick up that DVD.

Dimmu Burger 01-26-2008 08:00 AM

I've recently discovered Mournful Congregation. I now like officially like a Funeral Doom band.

Iron Bars 01-26-2008 08:11 AM

What Mournfull Congregation did you listen too? I only heard Monad of Creation which is a great album

Dimmu Burger 01-26-2008 08:14 AM
What Mournfull Congregation did you listen too? I only heard Monad of Creation which is a great album
Yeah that's the album. I listened to it at the DMV while waiting to get my license renewed. Great stuff. I totally wanna be the drummer in a Funeral Doom band now.

pate 01-26-2008 08:16 AM

So you can have a smoke in between snare hits?

Dimmu Burger 01-26-2008 08:18 AM
So you can have a smoke in between snare hits?
Or go take a nap.

Tyr 01-26-2008 08:18 AM

Possibly a nap as well.

Edit: Beaten.

lol

Tyr 01-26-2008 08:21 AM

I don't mind listening to FD once in a while, but I'd be bored to tears if I had to drum in a FD band.

Dimmu Burger 01-26-2008 08:23 AM
I don't mind listening to FD once in a while, but I'd be bored to tears if I had to drum in a FD band.
I would probably do a band with a few FD parts, but not playing that stuff all of the time. Maybe like a DoomGrind band. :)

Iron Bars 01-26-2008 09:29 AM

FuneralGrind, I can see a market for it already.

the2stranger 01-26-2008 10:20 AM

Like in Ataraxie, disEMBOWELMENT andeven some parts of Pantheist.

Even though it's actually death metal and not grind.
But Esoteric and Ahab have some interesting drum parts, and also on MC's new album there are some nice drum parts.

Also the irish funeral band Wreck Of The Hesperus has a good drummer.

Dimmu Burger 01-26-2008 10:28 AM
Also the irish funeral band Wreck Of The Hesperus has a good drummer.
