Oh calm down. I every right to post here. Your posts are just as much spam as mine are. Just because I don't post very often in alt/indie doesn't mean I can't participate in this thread. I still read here, I just always see threads about similar bands or bands that aren't very interesting. There has been many Q and Not U threads that I haven't participated in, because I don't know much about the band other than a few songs I have downloaded. Don't waste your time concerning yourself with my actions.

Why do you care so much about post count and stars?

I'm not trying to stop you from posting here, I have no right to (like you said), but if you're not going to post in that thread, then I'm not sure what those quotes are about

Because the thread has no point really. I have only heard one album by them, and that is all I know about them. There really isn't anything I could post besides "I like the Different Damage album, but thats all I've heard" which seems pretty pointless to me. I want stars because I want to be able to rep people for things like FAs in R&M and for other random deeds of kindness. I don't really care about postcount, but in many areas on this site, a postcount does make people take you more seriously. This thread is simple and fun, so helping out my postcount, learning new music, and possibly introducing others to a new band or genre seems worth the few seconds it takes to post. I'm sorry if this bugs you or anything, but I don't see why it should.

I want to end this after this post (at least between you and me, because this will probably happen to you yet again), but look at the two quotes in my previous post. Read them, then try to take yourself seriously after reading those quotes, and reading all of your posts that defend yourself when people try to question why you post here. Your only legitimate excuse (the ones that I quoted) are now broken.

Feel free to post away I guess, I just think that maybe Alt/Indie songs/artists belong in the Alt/Indie "what are you listening to now?" thread.

I have posted quite a few bands that are alt/indie. Most of the things I post are hardcore/emo/black metal, because that is what I mainly listen to. Ok, let this end, but you didn't 'break' any so called 'excuses' that I had. I shouldn't need to excuse myself for doing exactly what this thread was meant for. Nice chatting with you.

Because I'm listening to the album, I almost always listen to a full cd. I'd either have to pick my favorite song from an album, or spam up the place with every song on the cd. Or should I not list albums?
