I love the Merry AXEmas cd. I don't listen to it until after Thanksgiving though.
Well Thank you kindly.

I figured out that the Brian Jonestown Massacre is referring to Brian Jones of the Stones I never really connected those two together. I figured this out after seeing one of their albums with a picture of him on it.
I'm bout to leave for a choir concert the first for me in 2 years, I'm nervous.

PinkFreud 10-26-2005 05:51 PM

you didnt make the connection? whats wrong with you? haha.

good luck.
The Allman Brothers are godly and anyone who disagrees should die.

Yeah.
Yeah I love them, I have their greatest hits anthology. For being such a great influential band they are kinda underrated, I think. BTW Allman bros. > all other "southern rock" bands.

JonG 10-26-2005 06:21 PM

I sent out an Allmans album..

Does anybody like Rory Gallagher? I've liked him for awhile, but now I just got an album by him. His "Irish Tour" album. "Too Much Alcohol" is a great song.

He is a fantastic guitar player.

/sending

Hopefully it works.

Krabsworth 10-26-2005 07:41 PM

Crossroads is such an easy song on guitar. It's basically easy power chords and a wanky solo.

SwanSong 10-26-2005 07:53 PM

/random?

It sounds cool, that's what counts.

PinkFreud 10-26-2005 07:58 PM

the solo is hard though, because its off the beat and has a weird rythym.

Broken Arrow 10-26-2005 08:04 PM

Has just sent Tonight's the Night in Mp3. Hope you guys like it. Prolly wont though.

PinkFreud 10-26-2005 08:06 PM

why? whats wrong with it?

Broken Arrow 10-26-2005 08:07 PM

meh, I like it, I'm just saying if you dont it's not my fault. You might not like all the voice cracks or missed notes. I think it adds to the album.

Lunch 10-26-2005 08:09 PM

Crap, I missed all the Who talk. Walrus, good luck ever becoming not obsessed with them.

John Entwistle really did get better as he got older, as Pinkfreud said.

Eminence Front = Some Disco + Who, and Eminence Front owns.

/thread.

MBS 10-26-2005 08:18 PM
/thread.
Only on post 50,000, which is sadly approaching. :(

On the last page, we should have all the regs post once saying "'Bye thread"

OMG GUYS, WE'RE ON OUR LAST 75 POSTS!

Lunch 10-26-2005 08:19 PM

It doesn't have to be closed (and hopefully won't be) if the thread isn't lagging. As far as I know that's the reason they have to close overly large threads.

PinkFreud 10-26-2005 08:23 PM

whoa, close.

mbs, not last 75. last 975.

Lunch 10-26-2005 08:23 PM

Haha, nice adding skills.

MBS 10-26-2005 08:25 PM

Oh, oops.

Back to first grade for me... :(

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 10-26-2005 08:26 PM

Whose going to start the next Classic Rock thread? Assuming the name is "Classic Rock Revisted" (that is the new name right?) and B0nzo isn't here to re-create another thread ummm...I'd love to do it. :D

I don't know how many regulars would dig the idea of me starting it but again I'd love do it.

Lunch 10-26-2005 08:27 PM

I think everyone would probably like to start it, but it isn't all-important to me or anything.

MBS 10-26-2005 08:34 PM

I don't care who starts it, but I think we should all have a say in what the first post says.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 10-26-2005 08:39 PM
I think everyone would probably like to start it, but it isn't all-important to me or anything.
It's not very important to me either. It's just I think I'd be really cool to be the threadstarter of such a thread.

I agree, everyone should contribute to what the first post says.

Classic Rock Revisited right?

DeusExMachina 10-26-2005 08:44 PM

I don't care who starts it. Or what it's called.

Krabsworth 10-26-2005 08:46 PM
the solo is hard though, because its off the beat and has a weird rythym.
What part of the solo?
