Wow...there's this kid that works at my local Borders who's playing in a band that's opening for Steve Vai this Friday, and he's offered to sell me tickets. Maybe I'll get to meet Vai...this could be cool...maybe bring him a demo of my stuff...Favored Nations... :)

It was a couple weeks ago, but there were a number of us there. For some reason the room we were chilling in had six couches, and everyone was seated rather comfortably. Bobo was sitting in a beanbag chair by the fireplace for some reason, though, and kept going "BwaaaaR!" everytime someone made a dumbass remark in the conversation.

Awesome that you got those books, I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. Inferno in particular, as I said, has some of the richest imagery of any poem of its type I've read. It does remind me very much of "Gilgamesh," though.
