if that list was full of crappy doom death or nostatus then yes, but no, some of that stuff in the list is crap but its all one bundle deal. If you think ACCEPT, PRIEST, DIO etc is "bad music" then maybe find a new genre.:thumb::thumb:
i remember when i first met you i caught you listening to poison on MSN and i said "lol poison?" and you were like "NOT THE SHITTY GLAM METAL BAND"
bet it was tbh |

i took out the ones that are good/listenable. but wtf is with these? you cant actually be into this now?[/QUOTE] Vixen, White Lion, Stryper is OK stuff but like I said, its all one bundle deal. 3 bm tapes actually and an EP for that is quite the score even if its all crap. and ive liked hair/glam metal long before I was into extreme metal but never took the time to look deep into the genre |

You'd love VH1 then. |
hi.
i was into it in middle school, round the times i believed that a song wasnt good unless it had a guitar solo and/or was made pre-1990. it seems the further from the mainstream you look in that genre the worse it gets. theres some decent lesser known ones like hanoi rocks and ****, but mostly if they didnt get famous it was for a reason.

oh yeah, you probably dont have it in canada.
we do but have no idea how thats relevant
yeah i wasnt giving you advice-like, was just sayin conversationally
Cael what stuff did you trade for those tapes?
fair enough, still some stuff WASP and early Crue is pretty heavy for that time and for mainstream metal. i love how cheesy some of this stuff is and how over the top it can get.
because vh1 is under the impression that glam music is what actual metal music is. you've never seen their metal moments specials?

well it is "actual metal music" so i dont see the issue here. its just as legitimate even moreso than all the other metal genres. |
VH1 is only good for the i love the 80's things that they do
so did you used to whack off to brett michael's rock of love? dont say you havent heard of it.

ive never questioned the awsomeness of wasp. dont know how much i agree with you on crue tho. i guess the early stuff was alright. smokin in the boys room is definitely cool. that really is the most redeeming quality about it all - its just fun. sometimes |
