Hey guys. I'm buying mah first laptop this morning. In any case, it's unfortunately pre-loaded with Vista Ultimate. :-/ So, would anyone be so kind as to detail all the features I need to disable and any settings I need to change, keeping in mind I want to play older games sometimes, so running it in 32-bit will be a pain.

Also, should I just set up a network with my desktop to transfer all my music and files over to the laptop, or is there a faster way?

If you are on a wired LAN, it should be pretty fast.

I am not that keen on them myself, and if I had my way I'd be buying a new desktop, but I'm going to need it this year for both Uni and once I start working out at the mines.

Perfect way to restart the Romero zombie ethos. The main theme was how prolific information has become in the digital age and the coming obsoletion of manistream news media.

Flowery film fag analysis aside, Greg Nicotero provided excellent gore as per usual. Some great, creative deaths. Also some very disturbing and depressing scenes. Most scary movie directors seem to forget what pathos is, though Romero it seems still gets it. I was so engrossed by the second act that I completely forgot about my popcorn.

Thanks mate. I've got my wireless router already set up with my desktop, so I'll just connect the laptop up to it physically.

i have more music on my external drive than i could actually fit on my laptops drive. plus, i run all my games off it to keep my actual laptop running as fast as possible, but i still had to upgrade my RAM the other day.
