I buying this weekend a Nemesis 250 watt amp. I'm surprised at how good it sounds and by its price, it's not as expensive as I thought I'd be.

Are people still into old prog rock like Jethro Tull, Peter Gabriel -era Genesis and King Crimson in England.

I'm wonderin' because it sorta started out in England.

I'm only six days older than you, dude

I wouldnt say so. Although most peoples dads still listen to those bands which is cool! And Genesis have just released a new album I think. (Its a "Best of" album i think)

My dad listens to stuff like Deep purple, bad company, free, paul kossoff, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Uria Heap, stuff like that. So I usually steal his cd's :)

cliffburtonrules 12-23-2004 04:48 PM

My dad is a classic rocker. He grew up with all the good music, so I steal his CD's too.

neal_672 12-23-2004 04:49 PM

my dad listens to a lot of the same stuff as your dad by the sound sof it Jamie. Cool music taste, i always steal my dad's cd's

BassasonicMuthaplucka 12-23-2004 04:50 PM

I steal my Dad's and uncle's records and burn CDs from the library.

To get around the 10 cd per card limit, I use 5 cards :thumb:

Low-B-Mundy 12-23-2004 04:53 PM

Low-B-Mundy 12-23-2004 05:09 PM

I think if you are really into music with a passion even when you get older ........ even really old (44) you will still be into the music. I like my old progressive rock and I like the all the stuff you younger guys lesion to.

I'all about that kind of music ........... and I've gotten my kids into that kind of music.
I even taken my daughter to Box Village to Peter Gabriel's studio. ......give me a minut and I'll post a photo.

Mitchell Royce 12-23-2004 05:16 PM

I love all that old music and thankfully don't have to buy it because my dad has a lot of it(though I still cannot get into prog such as Yes, Rush or Asia) but there's no spirit of rebellion in rock anymore. Our generation is probably the most boring music-wise if one excludes electronica which most of you guys don't seem to listen to(I'm not that into it myself I gotta say).

neal_672 12-23-2004 05:23 PM

Rush are amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing :thumb:, you really should make an effort to get into them Mitchell. How about Pink Floyd? You like them?

ScorpSath 12-23-2004 05:24 PM

Hey all, what's up?

ScorpSath 12-23-2004 05:25 PM

Today I shopped.

ScorpSath 12-23-2004 05:25 PM

Well, I guess I am here alone... AGAIN!! Is it, could it be? A triple?
