In the episode where Homer goes to Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, near the end where there is the concert and Homer invites all his friends. Homer tell them that there will be pizza and pop. Then I believe it is Carl who says: "Pizza and pop. Now that's a winning combination!"

Yes there is.

Everyone at the camp only wants to play guitar, then the guy handing out the instrument, I forget who it is, says something along the lines of:
"There aren't enough guitars for all of you. Doesn't anyone want to play bass?"
Then he slowly plays a couple of notes and no one says a thing.
